  1. Got some for my F6 last weekend. Put the front one on and it blocked off half the intercooler! It was the size of a bill board and ugly compared to the Queensland style slimline type plate. Managed to get my old plates back half an hour later. I wouldn't recommend the NSW FPV plates to anyone!
  2. Thanks mate. I assume that lubing the boost control solenoid would be a good idea too. I haven't had a good look under the bonnet yet but I assume they have the same solenoid setup as the BA/BF?
  3. Do the exhaust manifold bolts come loose on the FG turbo engines like they do on the BA/BF turbo engines?
  4. If you can't get one from Ford, it looks identical to the clip on a 2000 model year Jaguar S-Type center console ashtray (There's a lot of Ford parts in these cars). They are not expensive and are available, I've replaced plenty of them. If you get stuck, I can get a part no. for you.
  5. Got build # 210. Conquer with auto trans.
  6. I did what you said. I turned the ignition to on, then disconnected the negative terminal. The alarm didn't go off! When I reconnected the battery, I didn't have the key in the ignition at all. On reconnection, the alarm gave 1 chip which is the unlock confirmation tone in my case. Everything works as normal so a big thanks to all you guys that came through with the answer to my question. 7. Thanks a lot guys. I even rang FPV road side assist and they told me to disconnect the battery then push the unlock button on the remote. That didn't work. Having the key switched to "On" then disconnecting the battery makes sense. I'll try that an Saturday when I've got some time and come back with the results. Thanks again for all your help, Bullet1
  8. Hi everyone, I've got an 07' R Spec and every time I disconnect the battery the alarm goes off. Is there a sequence to turn it off? I read in the owners manual if you turn the key from Acc to On 10 times, it disables the alarm but it doesn't say how to re-enable it. There is no key to switch it off. I've unlocked the car then tried pressing the unlock button on the remote after disconnecting the battery while it's going off but no good. Does anyone know the trick? Cheers, Bullet1
  9. Hi 'arm79' You say it has a very sad story behind it, hows that?
