I had already changed spring and it didn't make a difference but I didn't try but solenoid back on. I'll try that thanks mate

Aww yeah. Where does bleed off valve bleed to? Atmosphere? A dude named Dave. Does some drag cars. He uses ems computers.

I have tried different Tensioned springs and still no difference :(

What if I run another external waste gate?

What could be causing the problem to begin with? Can't I fix it by keeping everythin the same?

ITs externally waste gated. Because we has trouble with ported exhaust housing we ran external gate and still having problems.

Hey everyone I'm having a problem with my boost. I wanna run 16 psi but the boost is hitting 20 psi. I have rapid systems v3 intercooler kit, gt35 with .70 ar comp, 4 inch intake, 4 inch dump pipe to 3.5 inch single system, 40mm external waste gate, 60lb injectors, 044 and surge tank, sx fuel reg and rail and valve springs. No matter what we do we can't get boostdown under 20 psi. Just wondering if anyone had any ideas? Any help would be appreciated thanks

I spoke to guys at dellows conversions and I'll get bell housing off them thanks for the help

Also what would be best stall for car? I was thinking around 3000? Is that too high? I'm nt entirely sure about the way stall convertors work

Yeah I seen that catalogue before and couldn't find one. I might just get one made coz I have gearbox I just need adapter plate so I can continue with making cross member and getting tailshaft lengths and so on. Any other places that you guys know?

I called them and they said they didn't do one or they made a c10 bellhousing that bolts to th 400 pump or some crap. Not too sure what he meant. The bloke who built my btr stronger said he can make me one with milling machine for about $300. Does that sound dodgy?

does anyone know who or where I can get an adapter plate off so I can fit a turbo 400 gearbox to my ba xr6t? Any help would be good thanks

Yep big gearbox haha I have patrol work ute. Engine and gearbox are out of little ud trucks so got to be tough as. Yep Phil said 6000 for turbo 400 conversion. I'll have to ask about c4 and other gearboxes. Anything that can handle power 4 speed now has more clutches, bigger piston and higher pressures thanks to Phil. Smashes hard into gear haha powerskid out of tafe into second and just goes sideways haha. Tafe lecturers always love it

Do you know a bloke called Phil jackman? Mandurah diff and trans I think? He rebuilt my 4 speed. He suggested powerglide and turbo 400. He also said there is a Nissan patrol gearbox that can be put in the xr6t's now but really heavy. Also spoke to Simon at all fast torque convertors and he said same thing

Coz you guys probably got more idea about the xr6t's. They do all big power work. Right now my car is only making 350rwhp haha I got atleast another 2500 to go yes I was told to get powerglide but not so good for driving around town when I get the occasional chance. That is why I wanted turbo 400 or something so I got more gears and it is still driveable

Ok I just want something that will handle all the power I can throw at it. Hoping by end of the year I'll have new gearbox in and my engine built to how I want it. Hopefully handle around 1500 hp just need car to get there. Got all the people to help do it coz my dad races drags at kwinana and he makes around 3000 hp haha so his engine builder can build mine and will be sweet. What would be best gearbox? What would be food for quicker times? I don't care about fuel economy. I drove it about once a week sadly :( but after tune I'll be putting those try hard commo drivers in their place xr6t for the win haha

Yep car has only just hit 100000 which is ok. Suffered from boost cut when I first bought it at 56000 so ford rebuilt the turbo thinking that was the problem haha so that is good for a bit longer. I could run more boost. Im going to speak to rob and see what he reckons. I'm trying to get everything I need before tune to make his time easier with the car. How well does the c4 go? I been told to get turbo 400 coz it's tough and will handle heaps of power, not too sure what gear box will be best.

Aww ok I was told to take centre out. No worries I'll sort other one out too. Nah barely drive around anyway sits in shed coz of work ute. Nah not high stall. I was going to change gearbox too coz it was a problem and still pretty much is being a 4 speed. Rob in Perth at monsta torque
