Hi Guys, This is pretty much my first post. I have a FG XR6T Auto ute (stock with a fat air intake) and I have a mate who bought a F6 BF MKII Ute and it has had a custom tune that has seen around 276 rwkw. We lined up at a set of lights the other day and I put my FG auto into performance mode (No Tip-Tronic). I stalled it just before the lights changed and I got him off the mark and acceleration in first, then it surged and stuttered before it changed into second (as it hit the rev limiter) and my mate blew past me, then we came to a halt at the next set of lights. My question is ......Do the FG's hit the Rev limiter in Performance mode when shifting Automatically with out tip-tronic with the foot to the floor? I have been told otherwise and asking who has experienced this?? Thanks, Wade.
