  6. I purchased a livewire about 12 months ago but ended up returning it to CAPA. As a storage device for 3 tunes they work fine as like any other box, tunes are loaded up using the Advantage III software like any other box and transfered to the vehicle. When it comes to data logging forget it! They are not compatible with the BA\BF models. They are unable to the read the vehicle PIDS. I tried everything to get it to work even contacting SCT in the US as CAPA had no idea LOL, which comfirmed they are incompatible for data loggin on AU model cars. Both the on screen dispaly and using the laptop datalogger did not work. If its data logging you are after buy the FlashII download LiveLink to your notebook and off you go. Dave.
  7. It works with all proceesor codes. I have never had a problem data logging any car .. When it read the PIDs it should pick up the HAANF strategy code from the computer.. You should not have to manually add anyting.. What version of LiveLink are you using? Have you installed the correct drivers on your notebook? Cheers,
  8. I have one of these in my car and it works as well as the overpriced units.. You cant see them as they are located under the car and they do the job so whats the problem? Apart from the SHINE they do the same thing... Dave
  9. Mate get a head stud kit they are $350 a set. Im glad I did it as im about to bolt on a GT42 and push it to 30psi and would not of been able to do it without the head stud kit.. Good Luck with it.
  10. Are you stating that from experience? I wouldnt call a Motec M800 or a WOLF V500 a lesser product if you have actually tuned a car in real time. There are many BAs out there running aftermarket ECUs. Karmens car went 9.44 @145.10mph with an Autronic and that's 1 of about 6 cars I know of with an aftermarket ECU.. Just because Nizpro couldnt get it right doesnt mean that no one else can. Its just shows that were not experienced enough, nothing to be ashamed of.. If you have ever used SCTs Advantage you will just how much of a pain in the bum it really is to use.. Load up a processor code and get tables that have no relevance to the car what so ever. Then load the box, load the car etc.. Not to mention, I can put a 3 bar map sensor on an vipec and it has auxilery outputs for us guys wanting to run nitrous, then there is aslo launch control, anti lag etc... Lesser products hey Dont get me wrong for street and mild racing applications the standard ecu works a treat.. Dave
  11. I can FTP it you if you like or if your in Melbourne I can bung them all on a CD. Cheers,
  12. Hey all I tuned my BF F6 auto on a freinds workshop dyno a week ago and got some real good results out of it. I am experienced tuning Motec, WOLF and other aftermarket units but have only done a handfull of tunes on my F6. The problem is the car now keeps throwing up 2 DTC codes they are as follows. PO 236 TRB BOOST S A PER.. PO 238 TRB BOOST S A CIR HI IN These codes dont seem to appear when im tuning the car on the dyno but after taking it for a hard drive the engine light pops up. I clear it right away with the XcalII but they return after a good hard drive.. Any help would be greatly appriciated. Dave
  13. Nice looking systems.. How much will they be retailing for? Thanks
