  2. Give the bigger huffer a go mate... Gtx models claim 30% earlier spool up than gt models... Lag shouldn't be too much of an issue...

  4. Yep... Took my f6 back to the dealer for a service after I first bought it and the dumb asses filled the battery all the way to the top of the caps when it was cold... So by the time I got home and the battery got warm it overflowed acid everywhere... There is barely any paint left under the battery box and the acid also ate away at the fittings and wiring to the drivers side headlight... Not happy... A ford mechanic will never touch my car again... Ya better off doing your own servicing IMO...
  5. My mate has a 05 typhoon in shockwave and his is in getting painted right now... All metal parts though and not the plastics... His was flaking off quite badly though...
  6. I've heard from quite a few guys that most tuners seem to get better results from bp ultimate... My tuner agrees...
  7. Sure will... It's only like that so I could take it for a spin last weekend and a temporary solution til I relocate the battery this weekend... I got an airbox to fill that corner... Then it's back to the dyno to touch up the tune...

  9. This is my temporary set up... It doses it's head off... Wipped it up out of a few spare pipes that I had already and the bend at the throttle body is cut down peice of standard turbo intake pipe... Looks a lil bit dodgy but it works...

  11. Already have removed rear muffler and replaced it with a straight through pipe and made 8-10kw more... I won't be driving on the road with no cat and I'm pretty sure that u need 200cell to stay legal... I just wanna straight through pipe that I can bolt in and out for events and the like... Would it require a retune though...?
  12. Hi guys... Just wondering if anyone out there has either removed or hollowed out their cat... Power wise does this make much difference... I got an xforce exhaust and the 200cell cat is flanged at each end so Im thinking bout making up a straight through pipe for drags, dyno days, etc... Anyone got any info on this...? Cheers...

  15. Does anyone know how to get BA premium sound into aux mode... I know u press the am button twice normally but in my car nothing happens... Do I have to have the aux cable installed before it will activate..? Any ideas...
  16. Not trying to argue about it mate but the factory BOV plums right beside the TB... in fact it couldn't really get any closer to the TB...

  18. Nah... Mate don't listen to that crap... The moment your throttle snaps shut the air has nowhere to go but back the other direction... By mounting a bov next to the throttle body air is still flowing towards the engine as it vents out... Doesn't matter if hot air passes through the intercooler coz that's what it's meant to do...

  24. I've just recently installed a process west st2 intercooler & coldside piping kit (thanks Karl-Hiro F6) in my BA F6 Typhoon with no tune and have'nt really had any issues at all. It also has a ss inductions glowler air box, cat back exhaust and a turbosmart direct replacement BOV. The only thing I've noticed is when I'm slowing down and engadge the clutch the revs seem to drop to 450-500rpm for a split second and then returns to normal idle speed. I've upped it a couple of times and there's no real gain in power but that's were the tune comes in, which is next on my list. As long as ya don't give ya car too much of a hard time I can't see it causing too many issues. Only had my cooler in for a week so if anyone knows of any long term problems it might cause by all means let us know.
