Hey team, this may be a re-post but I don't care I own Black T and have had trouble with swirl marks from the start. I have tried all sorts of polishes and waxes, even used special polish from a well know panel shop. Nothing worked.........until I did a search on here and found this stuff Click Here. This stuff rocks. Everything they claim on the website is true. My swirl marks are gone.....completely. It has something to do with the reflective properties in the polish that makes it so spectacular. It looks exactly like the day I drove it out of the showroom. Unfortunately I don'y have before and after pic cos none of the pics I took before could show the swirl marks. This stuff costs about $180 and will only last once maybe twice. But one coat claims to last for up to 5 years. I'm one happy customer, highly recommended.

I dont travel outside of SA much but even I have heard stories about Dominelli Ford.

I actually meant to have a mechanical inspection by an independent mechanic like RAA (SA version of NRMA) and anything they pick up I can take to Ford with written proof.

Should I get a mechanical inspection before my car comes out of warranty to have anything fixed that I'm not aware of? or am I just being pathetic?

To be honest. He got in trouble later for something else at the academy and was asked to find another job. maybe it was him that key scratched my car?

You guys might like this story. Happened about 2 years ago. Firstly, if anyone belonging to any police or law enforcement agency reads this thread please don't assume this is directed at YOU or your ageny!, this story is directed at a few individuals only. Thursday 28 September 2004, at about 11pm I noticed 2 Police vehicles scream into my Street then Park right outside my house. 8 Policeman jumped out then ran up and down the Street. This was going on for about 30 minutes. I though it must have been some sort of Raid.........how wrong was I! I became very curious, so I moved my car out of the garage and pretended I was going for a drive, as I was comming off the driveway and onto the Road, one of the Police Officers (the biggest one) stopped me and ordered me out of the vehicle, then the rest of the officers came running over.......but none of them came onto my property or even touched me. The officer called me by my first name and said I was in a lot of trouble.............WHAT THE F**!!, the police where there for me! The officer then said that he knew my name, my car, where my parents and friends lived...............all about me, he also said that becuase of what I have done my Army Career will be finished also. WHAT THE F***!! I could not for the life of me know what he was talking about. The Ofiicer then proceeded to say that if I don't stop text messaging his girlfriend then he would make life very difficult for me!!!! Turns out that his new girlfriend was my ex girlfriend that we still kept in touch. This guy was in his mid 40's, my ex was 23 (pictue home girl of the year 2003, look her up). This Officer was really pissed off and I thought that him and his mates where going to jump me, I was by myself, I was absolutely sh***ng myslef. For the next 15 minutes he rattled off all this information about me and family and continued to threaten me, then at the end he said that it was all off the record and his visist was only a friendly warning and not a threat!............yeah right The Officer and all his mates finally left, I was left there dumbfounded. Not sure what to do, I drove to Adelaide's main 24 hour Police Station in the city and spoke to a Senior Sergeant, his response was "tmaybe you should not have been text messaging this girfriend". This is crap..... Next day I called my friend who works in CIB, he made me come into the station and submit a statement. 1 Year later I receive this letter from the Police Commissioner of SA (Mal Hide), he apologizes on behalf of the SA Police and said that this was an isoltaed incident and that the matter was fully investigated and found the Officer to be gulity. The Officer has been demoted to constable with no chance of a promotion ever, also a $2500 fine. Turns out that this guy was the Senior Police Driver Training instructor at the academy and brought along a whole bunch of recruits with him. Funny thing was that all the recruits made statements against him because they actually had no idea what was going on. His excuse was that he used my house as the starting point of the night driving exercise and happened to bump into me. he actually tried 4 times before that but I wasnt home. he wasnt actually my ex's new boyfriend but he wanted to be and thought by harrassing me would hopefully let him into my ex's pants................what a loser! and he never did sleep with her. Some people think I should have taken this further, but I reckon he has been humiliated enough. Sucked in Mr Senior Constable, woops I mean Constable.

I can't remember but the place where my car is serviced recommended a certain type, was more expensive but not they rock with bugger all brake dust. The service guys should be able to tell you or any brake specialists.

Hey peoples, my T is standard, I have never seen or been in a modified T (its true), I found this vid on youtube of some guy filming the speedo. The speed seems to go from like 30kmh to 90kmh in like 1 second................is this for real, am I missing something. Can someone please explain.

read one of the previous wheels edition. They lined up a R8 and F6. F6 was quicker but R8 handled better.

My dealer reckons up to 5 rwkw, depending if you have their rust protection then its 10 rwkw.

people! I am South Aussie and I will be the first to admit that yes there is heaps of trannies. I don't know why! Most trannies are NA XR6 with stripes OR standard BA/BF with body kits. I don't know why. I know that when I bought my T the dealer offered a stripes for $100. I didnt get them.
