Howdy, I just bought the CAPA flash from sportcompact.biz off of ebay. I have to say the service was awesome, I got it within two days, it didnt work for some reason so I called them and they sent a replacement the next day. top stuff Obvoisly this one works. I just have a few questions. I installed the 98 octane tune that came pre-installed in the box. Faaaaaaark did it make a difference. Is it normal for the boost to really kick in from about 4000 revs or should it be smooth through the whole rev range like the standard tune. I'm serious, the boost like kicks you in the guts. and....how can you tell if it's running rich. apart from the boost really kicking in it all sounds normal.

um.....not sure about you.......but I love my T interior, I reckon its the bomb, and for half the value.

Just wondering, can a flash tuner be bought from an auto store, like supercheap auto or something......or is this only sold by dealers as listed on CAPA's website?

I know there is an answer in this forum somewhere but its'late, im tired and I cant find it. I just want to know yes or no. If I buy a capa flash tuner for my BA T then sell the car to upgrade to F6, can I use the same tuner on the F6 (yes I will be getting custum tunes)?

Well I would think so, then again im in adelaide and is like 40 degrees at the moment so maybe I should test it when its a little cooler.

I didnt notice any differnce aswell hahaha I give it another go soon and see how I go ← maybe I was confused and ended up spraying half a can of WD40 into some random pipe.

it didnt work for me. I used like half a can, I didnt feel any difference. my car has done 60000km. :(

are you talking about the screen you get with premium sound, if so then it can only be fitted from factory......or im not sure if your ford dealer may be able to fit one, but I would imagine that would cost a lot.

I know the standard BOV can be modded but I couldnt find anyone here actually leaving it in the standard position. I tried and it fits perfectly and it only took like 20 minutes. as the start of this post mentions, it cost $15 for the monza air filter and $4 for a pack of 4, 25mm rubber chair leg cups. The sound is nice, it's loud enough to sound tough but not ricey.........and it still sounds like the air vents back into the system. this is a before pic this is after

um....I must be dumb! but isnt the standard BOV near the rear right of the motor? yours is just above the turbo.
