yep. the thing I found is that a high graphics game on a PC requires a good graphics card othrerwise it runs slow and jerky as opposed to the consoles wich the games are built to the console so are always smooth and run fast. I reckon when it comes down to it stats don't mean sh*t, yes the PS3 has better stats in some areas compared with the 360........but an XR8 has more KW than a XR6T.......which one is quicker? I reckon that it would really come down to the games, some people like xbox games and some like playstation games. Personally I actually like girls getting naked games. but that's just me.

dude, I had to pay $2700 for a stock EF falcom when I was 19. Like me, if you really want the car then you find ways to get the cash. Don't be dodgy and get third party, for a car like that you need full comp.

This may sound sad but I use K-mart auto before I got my BA and they were great, major services were no more than $160 (including genuine parts), if there was a problem they would call me and tell me how much extra and get permission from me first. They do the service in accordance with the manufactures service manual so it's not like a dodgy service. like the other guys have posted, Ford quote like $400 then when you pick it up, they had to do this or that.....now its like $550. I was charged $25 in labour to change wiper blades at that point you can sit there in the office and argue with the service manager, but on a Friday afternoon I couldnt be faaaarked. just pay it and never come back.

yeah, I had a friend that was offered redundancy last year when they cut jobs at Holden. even though it all sounds bad he was offered like 40 weeks worth of pay to quit. Always sucks when massive jobs cuts are done.

I got one from this guy. I got it in like 2 days. The generic tune is ok but the boost comes on at about 4000revs and launches the car, it doesnt feel smooth. a custom tune is in order. from what I have read on this forum its kinda hit and miss with the generic tunes. Anyway I think it would make sense to get a custom tune anyway.

dude, I stuffed around for ages adjusting the lights, I did the whole upagainst a wall thing using measuring sticks. I thought I had it right until it was foggy one night and faaaaaaaaark my lights were over the place the high beams were like cris crossing.......and who know what the fog lamps were doing. Anyway took it to ford, told them the truth that I was mucking around, they fixed it perfectly (no charge).

There really shouldn't be a need to update the ECU if there is no problem. Ford only updated mine becuase I took it to them with a aircon problem, which is covered under warranty. I just called Ford again, they said it costs $390 becuase of what needs to be done according to the service manual. It took the service manual to Ultra tune and they said they will do exactly the same for $170 including parts and lube (I use my own lube anyway). sorry ford, you have just lost my business.........apart from warranty stuff.

I just got qouted $390 for a 60k service from Ford for a BA. Apart from warranty stuff, what is the real difference in taking it into a well known shop that would do a major service for half the price?

yeah I think the custome tune is the way to go.
