Unless the exhaust was the reason they broke in inth the first place. Mate had his torana broken into all they took were a set of worked walkinshaw heads out of the boot !! only in there for 2 days after buying them. Pretty convenient

Thanks for the advice guys, I will look into it a bit further. Maybee if I shove a stick through the cooler that may warrant a replacement cooler LOL. Every dollar counts so if I could make advantage of the tax breaks as well as the GST will save a fair bit of coin in the end.

Got an FG on a novated lease, had a BF with injectors, cooler etc with 300RWkw. Now after having the FG for a year think it is time for a similar upgrade. Stepped cooler Pipes F6 Injectors Tune. Anyone know if I can slide some of this into my lease as I way overestimated maintenance and fuel at the start of the year by a couple ok K and also sussing out next years budget. This is my first lease vehicles and not sure of limitations. Thinking of some wheels too maybee. Advise would be awesome. Cheers

About to buy an fg xr6t and I have the option of 20" fpv copies which look great or the 19" luxury pack wheels put back on. Love the look of the 20's but will it give warranty issues. Any advice or experiances would be greatly appreciated. Cheers

I am thinking getting an FG xr6t however it would have to be pretty well optioned as I had a look at a few today which were pretty basic with not many options and it felt like it would have been a downgrade from the BF. The 50 aniversary ticked the boxes though

Got them from the tyre factory size was 245/45/18 and $300 each at the tyre factory. Cheaper if you want 17" or even 18" in 235. 245/45/18 are an odd size and seem well overpriced.

I got some sumitomo zr III and so far fantastic, They almost hold in first gear and no problems at all in 2nd. Got 5000k on them so far and wear is looking pretty good 300RWKW and t56

Sounds like you have a heap of research to do on this here forum before you Decide. I would say BF without doubt ! and for the other question you would probably blow youre engine up if you just threw a pod filter on it ( things just are not that simple with these things.

From all reports I believe they are crap compared to other tyres in there usual price range but $200 fitted is an absolute bargain. I know they are discontinued but dealers have only reduced them to 300 - 320. So for $200 bucks I would give them a shot.

Blip on downshifts. Why dont they drive themselves as well !! Getting sick of these new cars full of technology driving themselves the less automation the better I reckon (within reason of course). Just practice and do it yourself. I have a manual and I get great satisfaction when I get it spot on (very smooth) but you feel like a twit when you get it wrong. Well if it was easy everyone would be doing it.

I was looking for these tyres over the past couple of weeks and was informed that they are now discontinued ended up getting simutomo zIII which seem awesome so far.

I listed Intercooler and Injectors on my AAMI policy no increase, But I too would get comfort in hearing other people who have claimed with mods.
