  10. Geezes! After that start in the 2nd by Warner and Rogers I thought it’s on but all you need is a break through (which came in the form of a run out mind you) and a bit of pressure and everything just comes together. 6 lbw in that 2nd innings, take a bow Steyn Remover, relentless pressure and continuous attack like a hungry wolf! The way Morkel drew life out of this dead pitch was brilliant. That is the most hostile we have seen him in a while. I mean he even bowled a bouncer at 153ks. And then in the second innings, what a bowling change to bring Duminy on, and then that crazy angry man Steyn just ran through the rest. South Africa 423 & 270/5d Australia 246 & 216 (73.4 ov) South Africa won by 231 runs
  11. Australia tour of South Africa, 2nd Test: South Africa v Australia at Port Elizabeth, Feb 20-24, 2014 South Africa 423 & 192/4 (47.0 ov) Australia 246 South Africa lead by 369 runs with 6 wickets remaining

  13. Not sure what has happened to our fielding of late! But this is a much better batting performance by my boys. Parnell, so good to have him back in the fold! Australia tour of South Africa, 2nd Test: South Africa v Australia at Port Elizabeth, Feb 20-24, 2014 South Africa 423 Australia 112/4 (25.0 ov) Australia trail by 311 runs with 6 wickets remaining in the 1st innings
  14. Australia tour of South Africa, 2nd Test: South Africa v Australia at Port Elizabeth, Feb 20-24, 2014 South Africa 214/5 (83.0 ov) Australia South Africa won the toss and elected to bat AB has now created a new world record, with fifties in 12 straight Tests. He shared the record with Viv Richards, Virender Sehwag and Gautam Gambhir before this fifty. Johnson looking good however the pitch has sapped 6km/h off him after the bounce which has allowed the batsmen to play him somewhat freely. Honours would have been even if Quinton de Kock hadn't given away a bonus wicket to Steve Smith. Dean Elgar after fighting really hard for his 83 didn;t play the best of the shots either. Aussies will be feeling better about today, but you mustn't forget that AB de Villiers is still out there.
