  2. im with buf phoon, you can pick a 2nd had flash box up for just over the 300 mark, you would want to get the piggyback for next to nothing for it to be the better path to go down imo

  5. mine seames pritty progressive boost comes on erly and is thru the whole rev range, my old wrx was harsh wet from nothing to full on gave that real push back in seat feel but it was a 4wd so was easy to drive, differant story if it was a rwd, would spin every time boost kicks in, I could spin all 4 wheels in 3rd in the wet which isnt bad for a 4wd with only 157kw at the wheels

  7. I deffintly would not do the first 2 things heres why chromeing an intercooler will glog it up majorly making it even more insuficiant, its advised not even to powdercoat the core as that's to thick too sandblasting will just f*ck it way to powerfull and harsh for an intercooler core
  8. dont think he ment hitting it think he was talking about increasing it pritty sure his is an auto to so theres no hard cut with the clutch out mine seams to pull pritty dam hard still at 5000 to 6000rpm that thing has well over 300kw
  9. rang a few places seams 650-700 is the going rate, aint cheap but ill only need to do it once, think the ford "sealed for life maintance free" is a load of crap IMO especially with over 300kw

  12. think mine goes to 6000 now but pritty sure it was 5500 before this tuned one goes to 6000
  13. nar I was lucky got it on friday so had some dry weather, that would be pritty sketchy at 140kms lol

  15. your a lucky one then, doesnt really bother me, whats your average litre to 100kms read? ive noticed mine useing alot more fuel even when driving normal but the average litre to 100kms hasnt changed yet, also how much torque did urs make?
  16. mine use to rise a few psi as it was changeing gears(auto) thort it was just normal as mine was bog stock with a booszt gauge

  20. yea dont know what that blokes on about but I deffently would not consider the monza, even my hdi lost a few kws back to back, rapids imo
  21. any spray shop will do it, as for price depends if you sand them or get them too that's were all the hours are, usally about 60 a rim if you do the sanding
  22. jet is urs a bit harder to start 1st start? ive noticed mine is think it maybe because the larger injectors?? I gota go see bruce tomoro to get the engine "emmisions" light turned off, the "high flow cat" set it off
  23. yea it took me a good few months to get the bits and my tax return came in handy, bruce was by far the cheapest,closest to me and has a very good rep, even ppl from the other side of town have got him to tune there xr6's so that is saying something, ull love it my car has been stock as a rock since april when I got it so this was a big jump
