  1. Hi orangeute338 Mate thanks for posting that clip up. I noticed minimal amount of wheel spin, Great work. It's good to know that with a bit more pratice I might hopefully gt under the 12.5 mark as our mph was the same. I have spoken to a few people now since that 12.7 run and I think I am going to try ride clutch/wined out 1st gear for longer as I know wheel spin is the biggest killer. Thanks mate.

I think the exhaust and tune will be spot on and create a weapon, like you said the figures seen on other GT and GS's with these Mods are amazing. Pics would be great. Tys
  3. Hi Sorry this is a bit of topic but does anyone know the user name of the M6 Ute from WA that is no.30 on the list Xtreme F6 just posted? I just wanted to PM him and ask a question. Thank you. Tys

Hi Redhawk Great read thanks. I can't believe how much power these cars are coming of the shelf with, just bloody Awesome. Tys
  5. That's massive power. What have you had to do to the Manual Transmisson to take that type of power?
  6. Hi I was just trying to see who else out there has a MANUAL XR6T or F6 UTE and has put it down the quarter. I have a Manual FG XR6T Ute and I have had it down the quarter in 12.7sec at 118mph (that's my best with least amount of wheel spin)the car has 350RWKW. My 60ft was 2.190 (I know I need some practice hey) I am just trying to see if there are any other Manual Ute drivers and how your going getting your Ute down the Quarter? Thanks Tys
  7. Hi dave s Mate great time that is flying. If you don't mind how many RWKW does your beast have? Thanks Tys
  8. Hi Great read this thread. In March I ran a 12.785 FG Ute 6 Speed Manual 60ft - 2.194 MPH - 118.45 350RWKW As you will see from my 60ft I need some practice.
  9. Hi Guys I apologise when I first opened this thread I did not see your responses before mine.
  10. Hi Kybus I assume you have a FG Manual? Mate I am no expert but the only way I no of is through a Tuner, mine said he could turn off all together or change the RPM which I have done.
  11. Hi jetfg Mate I got my Pod From a Company called Top End Audio in WA, the guys name was Wally I think from memory and at the time he did 2 and 3 pod. I also got installed AEM gauges (Boost and Air/Fuel Ratio) Piccy Below. I got these from Quantam Racing in Woodridge. Hope this may help.
  12. Congrats Mate, I bet your loving your new power. I also have the PWR Stepped Cooler and It has worked well and I am very happy with it. Thanks Tys

Hi S3XR6T Yeah mate its a Manual and the Clutch is stock. Thanks Tys
  14. Great work mate I hope you love it.
  15. Hi mick A Mate hope you had fun last night. I have the exact same car as yours and when it was stock I ran 13.87 but forget the mph now. I believe it sound right, however I have seen a few different result out of the stock FG XR6T Manuals. Some as low as 12.7 somthing from a guy on here named Rusty and some who run 14s. Hope that may of helped? Thanks

    Fg Xr6T Ute

Hi Got the car back and I am very very happy with the result. It managed 352.2rwkw at 16psi and 813.7nm thanks to James at BPS I am really happy with the response of the car and how hard it pulls. Bit tricky trying not to break traction. Mods to date are. -SS Growler -Turbosmart Kompact BOV -CES Dump, Cat and 3.5 inch full exhaust -Injectors -Upgraded 35/40 Garret Turbo -8psi Actuator -Process West Surge and Pump -PWR Intercooler with upgraded piping kit Dyno Graph Attached. Thanks
  18. Great work mate. I hope you have a blast in it.
  19. Hi Lud360 Mate I have had one of these on my FG XR6Tute for some time now and I love it. I hope you really enjoy it to mate.
  20. Sorry kvbaby the write grpah is below. Thanks
  21. Hi kvbaby To be honest if I had the chance to do this Mod again I would have gone about it a little differently. Chiptourqe have done all the work to my car. I changed from my stock turbo as the waste gate flapper was catching and not closing properly. I tried to have this fixed yet it keep doing it. So with time restraints I opted for the bigger turbo, however this all happened when the guy I deal with reguarly was on holidays, hence with my lack of knowledge and him not being there the upgraded actuator was not installed. The list of Mods you mentioned I know I need to do. I was going to do the intercooler before the turbo but it but this happened. Attached is the dyno graph that shows you the Boost levels up to about 5500RMP. You can see after 5000RPM the difference. Thank you
  22. Hi Dillz Thanks for that, I will have to check the size of the BOV. When I got the car back home I did turn the BOV to as soft as it could go and It did help a bit. Thanks again.
  23. Hi R-SPEC Thank you very much for you informative info. That has help me a lot. I will get the turbo sorted with those specs I am glad you mentioned the 12psi actuator. Thanks again.
  24. Hi Guys I was wondering if anyone one could please help me out with some advice. I apologise about the length of the post. I picked up my car from the tuners yesterday (new turbo installed Garret 35/40 ungraded BF turbo)and noticed on the way home that it sounded like I was getting bad compression surge. My car is a FG XR6Turbo Ute. Mods to date are. - Upgraded turbo - SS Growler - CES Turbo back exhaust - Turbo Smart Kompact BOV - FG F6 Injectors The tuners got 312.9RWKW they had it running higher figures but notice that it wasn't getting enough fuel flow? they also told me that I had the wrong actuator 4PSI should of been a 8PSI so its getting boost leak and to top it off the upgraded exhaust hole under the waste gate they thought was still not big enough even though its upgraded. They have said they have tuned it safely but to do this had to basically cut off any power to the car after 5000RMP. I asked about the compression surge and they mentioned that the BOV I have probable isn't doing its job 100% So is there any way to stop this surge (as I have been told it is not good for your turbo) with maybe a more free flowing BOV to let the higher amounts of air out created be increased PSI levels? Any advice would be muchly appreciated. Thanks
