It'd be a daily and run to 30,000k's a year, mainly long freeway runs (opposite direction to traffic thank christ!) Yeah, I love the ZF in my F6 now and I just wanted to throw some feelers out to see what people think.
Guys I'm finalising a deal on buying a new FG at the moment. The one thing I am stuck on is the damn transmission. I've always been a believer that performance cars are manual, and every car I've ever had up until I bought my RSpec has been such. The thing is the ZF is just so nice to drive. Rarely do you ever wish you had a manual, so I'm hoping that someone out there might have some pearl of wisdom that may help me decide what way to go. FPV have even made it hard as there's no price difference and practically no performance difference.
The capa system has been around for a while, so it is more commonly used and understood. Either system can produce the same effective result and the end relies entirely in the hands of the tuner. The sheer number of tables either system can access is a little semantic really. I own the VCM suite packagemand while the package is very definately in beta, but is well supported and updated often with new bits and pieces. It wont be long until it's well sorted.
It's not the Atomic tool - I think it came from Nizpro about 3 years ago. It's OK - ended up making something that was easier to use with some other valve spring gear I had at the time, which I no longer have, so the tool sits unused in a bag..........
You could probably use a pair of diodes on this rather than relays. Something like a PX6007, rated at 6A/1000v, will handle the inrush of initial power up of the HID's. Only a couple of bucks each.
When comparing graphs, make sure you are looking at them on the same scale. You can change the axis values to make the graph look like anything you want.
