Hey mate im selling it for 20(although I keep changing my mind and pulling it off carsales within a day of putting it up), spent about 40 on it over 3 years including the original purchase im looking to get into a 80 series and deck it out for touring as theres not gonna be to many of my type of tracks left soon and it will leave me some spare cash for more xr mods

Hahahaha was just a little one, picked up some stocker baxr rims to fit some slicks to and the guy threw in four bob jane specials with it for me to play with but that being said after the tune the 20s havent held up to well something to do with lighting it up the on ramp on the freeway every morning And Chris ive been giving your cooler heaps and the set up hasnt missed a beat im wrapped with it. and fordboy it was only in 3rd am gonna try and make a decent vid this weekend to finish em off

If it was a faulty part and you were waiting under warranty I can understand your anger but you did it so you cant be to angry at them. Got my bf2 ex chaser (first registered dec07) for 22k with 20s on it, only holes in interior are on console and next to drivers seat and is missing the clock (who cares guages will go there anyway) had 60ks and serviced every 7ks on it when I bought it and am up to 80 with no issues. In all honesty its a tighter car than my baxr8 when I got rid of it at 50ks and way better than the au2xr8 I ditched at 100k. I figured for me I do 50ks at least a year and drive harder than any cop would so couldnt justify spending extra to get a low k private sale when im gonna rack up the ks so quick. Im happy with my ex chaser, the cash I saved has gone towards mods I was worried at first but am super impressed and have had it checked over by my mechanic and a few ford dealers and found nothing wrong bar the diff bush needed replacing.

Driving along the f3 towards home (central coast) came up behind a general duties car hogging the right lane with driver on the phone doing 10ks under the limit, Went past her down the inside and she followed. I made sure I sat on 110 dead but chopped through the traffic forcing her to slow down then accelerate. She followed me to the ourimbah exit and her lights came on. For the first time in my life (im normally in the wrong and just accept a fine no arguaments) I jacked up and said I hadnt a f*cking clue why she followed me. After about ten minutes of explaining that if she slows down behind another car of course she will have to go over 110 to catch up again. After a while the dumb bitch got the idea I was gonna keep arguing with her and said she would book her car in to have the speedo checked and to slow down in future. I asked her why she didnt find it appropriate to pull over the 50 cars we went past who were clearly breaking the law by not keeping left instead concentrating on me and a fine she could never prove and she suggested speeding causes more accidents then not keeping left, at which point I gave up half the accos on the f3 are caused by poor driving like not keeping left forcing people to do silly things to go past she just didnt get it.

I got a feeling it may be something like tuned at 15psi trails off to 9 up high due to a dud actuator or something like that

I dunno if the 9psi bit is accurate but seeing as in the c&v thread the boys confirmed that he had that tune done (power wise no mention of boost levels) I gotta ask what are you questioning the integrity of the tuner or the poster? I dont see why it couldnt make that power with 15psi, it might not be repeatable due to heat soak etc but I wouldnt doubt a bfmk2 could make it on stock parts.

I think he is asking has anyone fitted the sequential shift kits available for 5 and 6 speed manual falcons that are being produced by all make motor repairs and restorations. Its a pretty simple question so how about giving the guy an answer you either have or havent.

I have some Edelbrock string extenders going up as a group buy soon if you are interested Ron, you will be looking at least a 60-80cm increase with a custom loom

Hey bionic, I know everyone has different expectations but for mine averaging below 60 on the way to wollombi was nothing short of painful. that's why me and the shockwave just kept going at wollombi to continue on to broke met up with the brother in law and went for a run of our own. We figured it was probably better to do our own thing than upset anyone by overtaking them all, glad you all enjoyed it though just wasnt for me which was cool.

I have an idea for cruises, if you arent capeable of doing over 60 around a wide sweeping bend move over and let the faster cars past

Absolutely, As much as you want to trust people you cant. I will never pay for a job until it is completed and completed properly. Its times like this it pays to develop a relationship with a mechanic and maintain it. My best mate owns a shop out at erina and is an absolute guru when it comes to engine building etc - When I mention how much people pay for "built motors" on this forum he almost has a heart attack. Some people charging close to 5k labor to bolt together a straight 6 is ludicrous. If only he would tune Ts (which is why im going to see the lads at c&v) but he is more of an old school and motec sort of a guy but will happily build an engine for anyone at alot better prices and with guarunteed better results than alot of 'engine builders' As an example when he built my xw motor and driveline he had just opened a new shop, no customers bar me and a few mates and he had no dramas getting me close to 15k in parts and wouldnt have asked for a cent till it was built and we had gone for a drive together to check everything is the way I wanted it. Drive the dodgies out of business, name and shame em if they want recourse they can sign up and voice there side of the story.

Ill be at nangas at 10 Trying to gee up another mate who just got a turbo as well
