Ive often wondered how it is safe for police to be on mobile phones whilst driving but no one else, In fact got pulled over once for overtaking a polce officer who was blocking the fast lane doing 10ks under the limit on a mobile I think to be fined in this instance is a bit harsh considering the real crimes that people get away with a slap on the wrist by a judge. The whole system in Aus needs to be reviewed as far as crime vs punishment goes and that's not the cops fault but the legislators. PS. Not a police bash im over that now

do they check helmets at the track or just check you have one, ive found me dirt bike helmet but it has no snell approval stickers on it that I can see anywere. I looked up the model on the net and it says dot approved I just dont wanna get there and be sent home any advice would be appreciated

Hey mate, No one will really be able to diagnose it for you on the net. Best bet is to go see con and the boys and talk through all the issues and discuss what could be changed or tweaked to deliver the result you want. Good Luck

All that will prove is that all dynos are different and we know that already, A dynos only good for a before and after comparison. If he has the sheets he can compare the conditions and parameters on the dyno and see if he got a legit increase or not. Oh so now your box is slipping and changing slower and you wonder why your times havent improved...seems a little of a no brainer then fix your box and go run some times. And while you may have not had that issue at the higher power level its called wearing sh*t out it will happen when you up the power, you could take it back to stop and blow it tomorrow if the damage has already been done.

Theres alot more to a quarter mile time than a power output on a dyno, Lots of things come into it driver, tyres, launch, gearing, condition of gearbox/clutch, torque, how the power is delivered etc. Did you tell the tuner you were chasing quarter mile times etc etc etc.

Doesnt look to bad with the custom paint, but personally I prefer my tyres black if the car is any newer than about 1970

What do you base that on Christiann, the kits have been around a while now. Supercharger and turbocharger technology is about as advanced as eachother. Slipping belts are not an issue if its set up right. What teething issues can be expected from the capa kit, the only person I know with one bolted straight up and hasnt had an issue in close to 4 years now. As for legalities a supercharged carbied big block in a ba is no more illegal than half the tuned cars on this forum so not sure why that's brought up.

Hey Pete, Just my opinion from what I have gathered from the letters from ford to its employees and comments and press releases by roland over the past 6 months. He signed a contract with ford prior to vodafone coming on board that stipulated the use of blue on the cars, He refused but gladly kept taking fords cash. Roland has made comments that due to the vauxhall alliance he always wanted to go Expensive Daewoo but they were pre occupied at scheming Tom back into ownership of HRT and werent interested. And everything ive heard Ambrose say is that when Nascars done and dusted he wont be racing anymore he has achieved all he set out to in supercars

We honoured every single aspect of our sponsorship arrangement with them and in return, we asked for one thing – that they respect our brand by painting their cars blue. This wasn’t just a simple request, it was written into their contracts every single year – and each year Triple 8 chose to defy that contractual obligation and paint their cars red. That may seem relatively minor but it’s not. We’re running a business here and investing significant sums of money in supporting motorsport. If someone continues to take large sums of money from us every year while continuing to blatantly defy the obligations they’ve agreed to in order to obtain that money, then we have no choice but to end that arrangement. Make no mistake – Triple 8 was given every opportunity to live up to the contractual arrangements they agreed to. Eventually we said enough – as any responsible company would do. I make no apologies for doing that. It’s not just about the cars being painted blue, it’s about whether or not we have an open and trusting relationship with an organisation that significantly benefits from their involvement with us. Roland Dane is scum, 888 had been in breach of there continuing ford contracts for years. Roland had a choice honor his contract with ford or loose funding. He chose to loose the funding. Roland wanted to race scumadores all along it was just his manipulative way of going about it that made half the idiots on here blame ford for what has happened. 888 are a disgrace

Cheers guys I was just curious as after tomorrow I have to basically leave the set up how it is till the end of the year (unless someone buys my truck) and was wondering if I would be dissapointed or angry at myself for not changing the piping completly. If it does 350 and isnt getting ridiculously hot intake temps ill leave it if not ill wind it back a bit and just have to wait a while.

Hey Peoples, Just wondering what is the max power limit people have achieved retaining the stock xover piping? Will 350rwkw be possible to achieve at 15psi or am I going to need to ditch it to reach my goal?
