Hey guys haven't been on the site for a while as I sold the typhoon a couple of months ago. Bought 2 x Lincoln continentals from the states. 1 x 61 sedan and 1 x 63 convertible, 430ci big blocks, yes that's 14 litres in 2 motors, suicide doors, electric everything. Should be here in the next month or so ready for cruising in summer. they are going to be wedding cars (small charter vehicles) so anyone getting married in summer or the new year give me an email if you want so very cool classic cars. both are white and if your a member I will look after you price wise.can also organise photography if needed.. Also looking for a XR6 turbo with a few mods done already so if you know of any that are quality let me know. Greendog

Fark me, been off the forum for a week due to a faarrked computer and it al goes to hell, people and there cars getting damaged, dean getting banned. I will endeavour not to have a sh*t computer just so I can keep up with whats happening. X,.....,sorry mate havent forgotten about your photos from the drags but as you see above the pc nearly ended up through my window, I have adsl2 and it was running a around 2-3kb/sec..slower than dial up. Will try to post a couple more for you tonight on the "new" WAW thread.

dean, just to add my 2 cents worth on the 40D mate. I bought one last year, awesome camera- took it to V8 supercars and honestly took poster quality pics. It also takes 7 shots per second so good for motor sport. I will bring mine down tonight to the drags so you can have a look if you like. best bet is to buy one on ebay from a reputable dealer. can get Body + 17-85mm and another larger zoom depending on which dealer for around the $1500 mark. A bloke in Perth was selling them around 1200-1300 for body and 17-85is lens.

Dont know about 1500 cars but there was a sh*t load. Good result money wise..

It was prttey insane last night. yeah me thinks that number sounds about right. it was like driving in peak hour traffic, it took me about 20 minutes to get through the first set of traffic lights to get into city west. heaps of knob jockeys (usually in crummydores) but some sweet rides aswell. Couple of small crashes heaps of coppers at Melville bunnings. I dont know how it turn out at the last meeting point (Kings Park) as we just couldn't be bothered any more. Did anyone else end up there?

I will be going in the F6 with my brother in law in his R34 GTR. I think its going to be pretty big going by what I have heard.

Did someone mention a cruise this coming friday or saturday to raise money for the bushfire appeal? is it still on or has it already happened?

You will find that driving lights are always on when you turn your headlights on and fog lamps can be turned off and must be able to be turned off. The ones on our falcons are definately foglamps not driving lights. Foglamps can also be yellow or white. The fine is $100 and 1 demerit point for driving with foglamps and another light exceeding 7watts (headlights) or $100 and 1 demerit for driving with foglamps on not in hazardous weather (not fog). Also you can only drive with foglamps on during daylight hours with out your headlights. If you drive with them on at night with out your headlights ,( just park lights) they will get you for driving not in hazardous weather $100 and 1 demerit and not driving with sufficient lights at night $100 and 2 demerits. I found out all this when I got done a while back and took it to court. I lost. Although it cost me $100 for the fine and $112 for summons the magistrate didn't give me the demerit points.. win some lose some. I hope this clears it up for you all. Also I agree that they are annoying as hell to oncoming cars especially WRX foggys. I dont drive with mine on anymore.......

Finally worked out how to resize my photos so I can post a pic of the F6. Hope it works.. Not much going other than a tune by XFT but have big plans in the next couple of months SCT XCAL1 permitting..

Good to see common sense has prevailed. As a xcal1 owner though I will be looking at sniper in the future if I upgrade as I believe this all may happen again. Once bitten twice shy...

I just want a definitive answer to what is actually happening as a xcal1 owner. I for 1 will not be buying another sct product as its a good bet this will happen again. Sniper for me.

I looked at getting sniper for my BA F6 but after a check of the ECU code was told by the tuner it was not compatible as yet. So I ended up getting a Xcal 1, This was about 4 weeks ago. If you do look at sniper speak with your tuner and make sure it will work on your car before forking out your hard earned...
