me personally I love the look man rekon it looks tough as, first thing I do when I get my xr6 (just abit less than a months time) is removing the spoiler and getting some rubber gromets to fill them temporarily till ican get some $$$ to fill the holes and paint it :D

personally, I would remove only because you get idiots at the lights thinking aww yeah non turbo ill take the, then when the lights go green all you see is there car in your rear view . make it into a sleeper

how did you go with strengthening any engine internals? was it necessary?

I must say I agree with ghosti, my mate did that and hes been happy with it, and it didnt even set him back much.

deffs go the catback, if money is an issue, try getting your hands on a 2nd hand xr6t catback.

hey thanks alot guys great help , and tab I just want it because I dont particuarly like the look of the one that's built into the xr6 that im soon to be 'getting' and my brother gave me his head unit that has a pop out lcd monitor so should be cool , again thanks guys great help. Jamie

I wasnt too sure if someone already created this thread but I was just wondering if anyone had done this? seeing as the stock head unit is practically moulded into the whole centre console, basically I just want to be able to get a normal single din head unit in there, has anyone done this and if so how much did it set you back? and where did you get it done? im in victoria if that helps... thanks, Jamie
