  1. Thought I'd post there here
  2. Yeah, I've been thinking about a XR6T for quite a few years now! I've pretty much come to the end with what I can do with my WRX STI.. Pretty much the lot, even on the corn juice. I want to get a bit more competitive in motorsport and want to get a dedicated motorsport WRX, rather than using my STI as double duties work commute and motorsport. The sell price on the STI should almost cover both. The XR6T will do the droll work commute well and be a nice tow car to boot for TheRaceCar™
  3. Looks like there's a pretty decent SA scene for XR6Ts? Currently in a Subaru but looking to get a XR6T in the near future
  4. Hi guys, I've been looking to get a BF Mk2 XR6T and would like one optioned out. Though I've come to realise I don't know what options were available! Can one of your educated souls write up a list or direct me to the right area? Thank you

That makes me sad. Am looking for a BF Mk II and that colour was my favourite,

Hey guys can you get this green in BF? http://www.carsales.com.au/all-cars/private/details.aspx?Cr=0&R=9522452&keywords=&trecs=3&__sid=12BA64E6C9AB&__Ns=pCar_LastModifiedDate_DateTime|1&__Qpb=true&__Nne=15&SearchAction=N&seot=1&__N=1216%201246%201247%201252%201282%204294966285%204294966463%204294922209%204294950836%204294766340&silo=1011
  7. Not to thread steal but probably a good place to ask. With the May? 2007 upgrade apart from the extra body changes such as the front winglets what were the other changes? I heard from a bloke at work (so probably crap) that they also came with bigger brakes? PS: Just sold my car, so now actively looking but in no rush to buy. Just waiting for the right one.
  8. Hi guys, haven't even got my BF XR6T yet but it's only a matter of time. Where do you guys go for general servicing and modifications? I've heard good things about Morpowa - Any good? Obviously not after negative vendor verdicts so please no bad comments about workshops in accordance with the rules, but please post good feedback about the workshop that you trust your pride and joy with. For example with my Subaru I had good experiences with S&J Automotive in Edwardstown. Pricing was decent and they knew what they were doing. The two week waiting period showed they were doing good work.

    Which Xr6T

Thanks mate, all these little things I need to know as I'm looking to buy as soon as my WRX sells.

    Which Xr6T

How do you guys tell it's a ex-copper unit?
  11. Hi team, I have been shocked and appalled at the price of insurance for XR6T's. So quoting on a 2007 BF MkII XR6T "Upgrade" (May 2007+ model) with no aftermarket options. For those interested I myself have no fines, cancellations or claims to make my quote higher than normal. 25 years of age and closed carport. JustCar: $1200 Shannons: $1238 The other large companies aren't interested. For laughs a mate who is 23 got an online quote through JustCar and it was $2600. What are you guys paying this year? I know that the BA's when they first come out were half that price.

    Xr6t Ute

Hi people - I've been looking at a BF XR6 turbo Ute. Just looking for some advice. Are there a lot of different types of BF XR6 turbo Utes? I've been looking at the 'Super Cab' what do these have over standard? Just a bigger cab? This is interesting.. http://www.nizpro.com.au/cobra_stage1_plus.html - Sounds like a good deal, $5k buys 300rwkw. Are these mods safe for a daily driver? I hear the suspension on these utes are sh*thouse - Is that true? If so, what kind of kits are out there to remedy? I do a bit of hills driving. I'd like to take this car to legal off street drags. Is the BF auto up to the job? Speaking of transmissions, how's the gearbox/clutch on the manuals? I'll probably go auto - Which is quicker off the mark? Thanks for your help! -A WRX driver.
