  3. Hi Matt, Just to bump the thread, have you looked into this any further, if you have I'd be interested. Cheers
  4. Apparently some early builds had bent fuel sender arms. Don't know if that applies to your car. Take back to dealer and ask perhaps.
  5. Thanks, No issues with Traction Control or Cruise Control when you fitted them and no load resistors used? Mines an FG G6ET BTW, suppose that wouldn't make any difference though.
  6. Won't fit the FG though I don't think.
  7. No mate, I mean actually replacing the current globes with one's like these: http://www.brightlightautoparts.com/LEDRep...mentGlobes.html
  8. Hi All, I have just searched through the electric workshop thread and came across this thread, so I thought I would rekindle it. I was looking at fitting LED's to my rear brake/tail, indicators and reverse lights on on my G6E and wonder if anyone has succesfully done it?? I have done a bit of research and from what I can gather (I'm no expert) I would need to fit a loading resistor (one that loads the circuit to make it appear a normal 21watt globe is present) across the brake light circuit and (possibly) one across the indicator circuit as well. I'm led to believe that if the indicators are driven by an electronic flasher unit, then a loading resistor won't be needed (can anyone confirm that the FG flasher is electronic??). Any help or suggestions appreciated or maybe details if anyone has successfully installed LED's. Cheers
  9. Great timbos, thanks, also found this site as well: http://www.brightlightautoparts.com/ Don't know if they are good proces or not (at least comparing to Ebay). Cheers
  10. Thanks timbos for your offer, that's mighty neighbourly of you. I'll have a look on Ebay, just don't want buy the wrong type of LED that won't fit. I'll have a look around and post up the item descriptions/links (if that's ok with Mods), this might help others and you could perhaps then confirm from your knowledge, they are the correct bulb for the correct light (don't want bum steer any1). Cheers and thanks again.
  11. Thanks, I might also drop into the local Auto Barn as well, see what they stock. Cheers
  12. Hi jlgw70, Mate a really nice ride!!! Love the G6ET in black. I wonder if you could post the brand/part numbers for the LED's you fitted to the interior lights of your G6ET, man they look fantastic and would like to do mine as well. Cheers!!
