  5. I just put BKR6EIX Irridium spark plugs in my tuned BAII xr6t (they come pregapped at 0.8mm), as it started missing under load last week it fixed it right up now and idles really smooth too. Note. The above part number doesn't have any -11 or -P after it.
  6. Happy Birthday Lynchy!

  7. 05 BAII XR6T only clocked up 68,000kms (just clicked over 20,000km running 342rwkw as daily tune). I've had it for 2 and a half years now only little probs have been: -Gone through 2 clutches (stock and exedy hdcb) -The roof lining is coming a drift Apart from that it goes great
  8. Cheers for the replies, yeah I might get the car retuned in a few months. I've got a x3 sitting around with no tunes in it at the moment, was tuned in vcm so been running the same tune for 2 years now.
  9. Hey all, Just having an issue on cold startups with my BAII XR6T. It sits on around 1600 revs slowly dropping untill warm usually after 5mins driving, this seems normal but the issue is it holds revs when driving for those first few minutes, when backing off/before shifting gears it holds revs for about a second, is this normal when cold? asked on AFF but got no reponse.Nnot sure if its a tune issue or not? throttle body is clean and it's got no vac leaks. Everything is fine once it's warmed up just those first few minutes so wasn't really concerned about it, just one of those annoying things.
  10. Yeh mate the 698 Atomic motor would easily handle 450rwkw, depends on how far you want to go later on. 998 would cost you $$$$$ have you checked the price list on the Atomic website.
  11. Pedal pressure is pretty much like the stock clutch on the t56 I paid $1820 for the clutch kit + delivery from Pitlane. Paid $600 for fitting (labour and dot 4 fluid) at Websters Dyno & Performance in Wodonga, I also had to get a new clutch master cylinder as the one on the car was stuffed but scored a brand new ford genuine one for $315 instead of $430 that fraud like to charge.
  12. Just got my car back today, Had a Malwood Auto Opt3+ clutch put in as well as a new master cylinder. Love it!...so much easier to drive then the Exedy hdcb one I had but prob didn't help the master cyl was slightly rooted. Doesn't feel like I'm doing a leg workout in traffic now. It's gonna be hard not to give the car a decent fang for 1000kms to bed the clutch in after not driving it for so long .
  13. Chances are its screwed so just going a new genuine Ford master cylinder. Just out of interest, does anyone know if there are any aftermarket clutch master cylinders for ba/bf t56 manuals? none listed in the PBR catalogue (guessing the Ford genuine one is made by them anyway).
  14. Just ordered a Malwood Opt3+ clutch from Pitlane Performance cant wait to get it and have my car back on the road. Just something I'm not sure about though I think my clutch master cylinder maybe stuffed as well? I had an Exedy hdcb clutch that only lasted 25,000kms, it started to slip in 4th gear when overtaking. I continued to drive the car around for about two weeks just babying it and then while driving from the shop about 3 weeks ago while shifting into 3rd gear something snapped, I pulled over and had a look, the plastic end of the pushrod that connects it to the pedal had snapped off and I checked the fluid it was sitting right on the min line (I constantly check all fluids every week so it should have been full) I think a little must have leaked onto the floor mat as there's a slight mark. Does this mean I need/should replace the clutch master cylinder? or can the plastic bit be brought seperate? the clutch fluid level is still sitting on the min line and hasnt leaked anywhere else from what I can see.
  15. Will be the plan, might even make a weekend out of it a nice long cruise in the XR, some beer and footy
