  2. I think Midnight Express is what I got... pretty happy with it. Sure it could be darker but I really don't want to take any chances going darker than legal etc. If/when I start modding the last thing I want is some unnecessary attention because of all things my windows are too dark.

  10. Maybe someone at the radio station is taking the piss and suggesting that Newton Faulkner is the only thing they play??!!

  13. Limited or not, there is no way it is worth that much TODAY!!! I reckon he's about 20 years ahead of his time (if he's lucky). Other than the fact it is a 'commemorative' model is there anything special about it? That's a legit question, I'm not too familiar with that model. For example, and maybe not the best example... the W427 had something special about it. It had an engine that was not offered on any other model at the time. I'm assuming this BF doesn't lay the same claim to fame?
  14. OK so granted I know very little about Falcons after only coming over from the Dark Side less than 12 months ago, but I came across this today. $110k (and he claims price reduced!) for a BF, surely that isn't for real??!! http://www.carsales.com.au/all-cars/private/details.aspx?R=5021181&__sid=11D6E4569997&__Qpb=true&Cr=1&__Ns=pCar_RankSort_Int32%7c1%7c%7cpCar_PriceSort_Decimal%7c1%7c%7cpCar_Make_String%7c0%7c%7cpCar_Model_String%7c0&keywords=&__N=1216%201247%201252%201282&seot=1&tsrc=allcarhome&__Nne=15&trecs=131550&silo=1011

  18. OCD or not, isn't it a little silly to compare a 2006 Ford taxi to a Lexus in terms of NVH and refinement in general? Talk about chalk and cheese! I guess one needs to have a benchmark and I guess in that regard the 430 is a pretty good choice from what I've read/heard. Will indeed be very interested to hear about the dB readings however. Not that I'm particularly knowledgeable of these things but surely if you go far enough you could get rid of a great deal of the noise, but at a cost of dollars and also adding weight?

  20. I wonder if John Travolta and Tom Cruise have them - might explain a lot. Perhaps they (the iPhone) are a tool of the Church of Scientology!
  21. Yeah I don't need my phone as a full-fledged business tool at the moment (that'll happen in about 3 years!) so for now the N97 will do it. I'm a bit 'young' to go with the BlackBerry or HTC (coming from the guy in the G6ET!)
  22. Try an N97 - Has a touch screen for alphanumeric with predictive text, AND a slide out QWERTY keyboard that a normal person can actually fit their fingers on - Will do all the other wanky bits an iPhone will do, email, mp3... oh and it has 32gb built in PLUS will take a memory card. - Has FM radio (do the Iphones have this? Not sure, I thought the older ones didn't) - One of the best (IMO) 5 megapixel cameras I've ever seen. - No bluetooth issues with the car ever - OH and you don't need to leave it permanently connected to a power source! I'm really not opposed to the iPhone but it is funny to see how vehemently their owners will defend such a fundamental flaw as shyte battery life. What good is a phone that can make coffee and give you a gobby if, if you actually use half of those functions during the course of a day, you need to take a charger with you over the weekend?!

  25. I would suggest though if he hadn't said anything there would be NO impact on his career because nobody over there would have even heard about it
