  1. You may want to do some research as a nolathane bush will transmit road noise to the cabin. Superpro have a nolathane bush which is designed to stop road noise but it's up to you. I had my front diff bushes changed to stock ones as Ford wouldn't put nolathane bushes in (under warranty). Maybe your friend can copy the Superpro ones as I think they have holes drilled around them.
  2. Worth a try, if your not happy you can always return it. I've got one and the bass in my car sounds OK.
  3. Hi Luke I think you can get them at Jaycar also.
  4. u need a Hum and Noise Eliminating Audio Coupler, you can get them at Altronics C9555 $19.50. Using some RCA TO 3.5 MM adapters u place it between your IPOD and the IPOD adapter. I did it and it works a treat.
  5. I had my front diff bushes changed for free by ford as they were stuffed and it was out of warrantee about 2 weeks. I asked the guy at Ford to check the Front Ball Joints and he said would change them as it was a Factory recall. I turned up at the dealership with 20 inch wheels on and they fixed it. No questions asked. I actually asked them over the phone if big wheels had anything to do with it and they said no.
  6. Even easier put a single diode between the 2 coils on the factory (lo beam & hi beam) relays. Buy a 3 amp diode, solder a red wire to the Anode and a black wire to the cathode, cover in heat shrink. Open relay box under the bonnet and pull the Hi Beam & Lo Beam relays out. The relays are energized by switching the earth. With a multimeter find which connection on the Hi Beam relay connector is the one giving earth to the relay coil (sorry can't remember the number on the relay), connect the Cathode of the diode (black wire) to this connector I just jammed the wire into the connector when I put the relay back in. Connect the Anode (red wire) of the Diode to the earth connector on the lo beam relay coil. Now when you hit the hi beam the lo beam will stay energised coz the diode will suppy the earth to the lo beam relay. uses bugger all power also.
  7. Why not if you haven't flashed you ecu yet try and get your hands on a second hand ecu and go beserk. Put back the original ECU if you need to take the car back to Ford
