I removed the filter gauze out of mine and fitted the earls inline kit -
I have bent 2 left hand axles! one standard and one lowered, its the axle tramp that caused mine to bend :(

yeah mate, pretty sure mal wood does top mounted tramp rods and aussiemusclecars.com sell them as well (low mount)

I bough my 2008 manual turbo ute in jan 2009 for 36,500 brand new, all stock except for the 18's (dash green)

not true. I have pedders leaf springs in my fg ute, which were full replacements. the top spring has been flipped and new eye bushes for about $400 bucks(not fitted)

mine is the king of tramp!! never used too when I bought it but ever since I lowered it and put the 20's on it, it has been a nightmare

I dont know if your reply was aimed at me or not but lowered 35mm in the front and bout 60mm in the back. I agree with what was said above. replacement springs are a good idea incase you ever want to put it back to standard.

I have lowered my ute. has pedders front springs and pedders rear springs. lowered about 40mm in the front and 60mm in the back. so far all seems to be going smoothly(touch wood). ute is manual xr6 turbo

mine is also a biatch to fill, clicks like crazy. mine starts moving after about 30km. my mates ba starts moving about 100km

HEY GUYS AND GALS! my name is corey I have had an fg xr6t ute for just over a year now, have only been on one cruise since I have had it. started to do a couple things to it to make it look a little nicer. got 20" wheels, lowered and had the centre muffer removed.(was too quiet)Got a nice note now. want to get on some more cruises this year. would love to modify it but im loving the warranty right now(when they actually decide to fix it).

mine does the same with the hand brake, ford said it was happening with a few and were waiting for a fix from ford. mine is a manual, usually happens when the a/c compressor kicks in.

I have also seen the gt an pinkenba, I did a bit of a slide round the corner, didnt realise at the time. haha

what dealer are you going to?? my manual has a driveline knock and metro ford what do anything about it.

hey, I called ford a week back and they said I could do a cat back exhaust, I was not allowed to do the dump or cat. I just had the centre muffler removed and a y piece put in and it sounds pretty nice.

I would prob go to the dealer first and tell them, but you have to ram it into their skulls to check it. I had my ute up on the hoist at work and saw that the diff bushes were starting to perish, so I told ford and they came back and said they have tightened up all the suspension to rectify the noise and I was like WTF u idiots!!
