I had this very problem when I upgraded my turbo and tried many different things like reducing the silicon down to meet up with the factory silencer etc etc custom silicon but now I am just using a 4" flexi pipe from auto pro which does the job, you loose alot of what you gain if you don't delete the factory silencer as it is only 3" in diameter and severely restricts flow into the mouth of the turbo, I tested it with my car and it lost several pounds of boost above about 4000 rpm, was like hitting a brick wall.

Pixie you need to come and have a listen to mine in my cinema room, I have 7.1 sound using top of the range psb speakers with a triple firing sub all bi wired through to a nad 757 and nad bluray player all hidden with a 140 inch screen, also hundreds of leds on the roof randomly flashing, photos dont do it justice...

Got under the car to look at the diff apparently the M86 should have 8R 29C on the tag and the M80 should have 8R 29C imagine my surprise to find mine says 051016PA Ratio 2.73 S/N 001766, and nothing else rang Ford and they could not help, anyone understand this?

Is there anyway to check it by looking at the diff.

I have a crossover intake, I replaced the standard air box with a streetfighter box, and the intake muffler with 4" silicon 90degree bends the vacuum sound is all but gone and its all spool. Only running 18 psi atm, as when it was tuned it still had standard valve springs which have since been replaced. I believe this combo has a bit more headroom in it yet.

Ive got twin 12" vibe subs in a box sounds great.

Is the dif in the g6et an M86 in single spinner guize. I want to go down the trutrac path, but am hoping I only need to buy the centre not a complete diff assembly. Anything over half throttle or 3000 rpm results in the bloody thing going backwards because of wheel spin.

Go for a swim that should help Angel, you can relax, have a beer and get a close look at cars as they pass through.

A twin system would be much easier to silence at lower speeds, I said twin 2.75 because after doing some research I noticed it would flow a little more than a 4 inch system while remaining alot quieter and twin 2.5 would flow less than a 4 inch system. Dont know if anyone makes it but it seems a sensible size.
