Looks like the only research you have done is what so called experts are telling you. The benefits of E85 are only achieved with the tuning of the ECU, or vehicles produced with flex fuel capabilities IE: Some SAAB and Volvo. Ethanol burns colder not hotter, ethanol does not produce more carbon, it will infact clean carbon from your engine and clean the rust from your fuel system. E10 was mainly produced to lower the end user fuel cost when the oil price was sky rocketing a few years ago. Petrol companies still make a massive profit on it though.
