    Fg Rwkw

Mine manual made about 245 the wheels stock also..gee I miss being able to get away from the lights with even a little traction!?
  2. Umm, sorry mate, just some random matt black pressure pack from Bunnings? I just scuffed up the red stripe a bit, masked right in on the shoulder of the rim and it hasen't flaked or lifted in 10 months or so since? Seriously can't even tell..
  3. Hate the red stripe too, so painted it out!
  4. Pics here mate... http://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=53638&st=36 I like the rims, they look fat down back... But as of last week I've a big ass Plazmaman polished cooler up front now, I'll take some newies on the weekend. Cheers.. Deano
  5. They look awsome on that Z! What width are the rears? I'm starting to wish I went silver on mine! Fordriver1, I have these in matt black on my FG, and have found that the matt surface can be hard to get or keep clean if you don't stay on top of them. Must be the non gloss surface that allows the grime to bed in maybe...so try and give them a wipe over regularly maybe? Cheers Deano
  6. The dunplop SP's Benny...35/19's to fill the guards a bit more. I know the SP's aren't the grippiest, but they were trying to move them cheap, about 250 each from Fawkner Tyres here in Melbourne. Cheers Deano
  7. I'll try and get a graph up shortly Benny, but yes, traction is a bit of a problem mate. I run 275's down back, first and second forget it..third still scambles a bit, the thing is nuts, and just keeps on pulling. Dean
  8. ok...to an update! Past days the boys at BPR having tinkered a little more, and we've up'd the intercooler to a new big ass Plazmaman, surge tank and pump and F6'ish spec turbo mod.. Is sitting at 376rwkw on about 16.5 pound for a bit till I get the feel for it, with a really nice and fat torque curve..made 400+ easy at around 18 pound, which we'll go to soon, but the way it comes on it will probably finish my clutch off... All I can say is fark, this thing is in a whole different ball park than prior, and carries so much more speed up top, with bugger all drop off in power to the limiter.
  9. I've got the full 4" on my manual sedan...have had it for maybe nine months now. I also went for the single humungo rear muffler. It's a bloody tight fit and is a little loud sometimes on longer highway runs..gets a bit tiring, but man it sounds good when you're up it and on over run.. I plan on doing the F6 turbo switcheroo pretty soon, so went big from the get go.. OK, so compared to a defillipo or similar the quality isn't the same, but a good economical option I rexkon. Cheers Deano..
  10. Hey all... My manual FG (tuned etc with 4" exhaust) pops and farts like a mofo, even when awdling about! Sounds nuts at higher revs when jumping off the gas...and scares the crap out of pedestrians and the like! Deano..
  11. Cheers mate...yeah, I guess everyone says that, but they really do look better for real, and the width and 35 series rubber fill it out nicely The brakes...about 2k'ish..nearly new..from the "other" ford forum.. Cheers Deano.
  12. Nice and clean mate...nice! Whats the cooler?
  13. Cheers...it does a bit, I agree! Dunno what it is? Maybe the spoiler delete...dunno? Is funny, cause I recently had a visitor for work, a swiss guy, who swore it was some kinda euro mondeo type thing...that was until I took him for a run and he shat his trousers! Ha... I know the black rims aint for everyone..but I like them...something different! Deano..
  14. Looks great mate...like the grey on white, and fat in the bum too! Mine look small too, 35 profile rear rubber to fill it out a bit more.. Good choice!
  15. ...and then there were Brembos...
