  5. I can proudly announce that I am only days away from rejoining the ranks of XRT ownership with a 2005 BA Mark 2 in Velocity Blue with Premium Sound currently being prepped by Rebel Ford. As stated in an earlier post, have been struggling with a mortgage and all the usual expenses and had to sell my original XRT a couple years back. BTW you wouldnt believe it - my original car just came up for sale and I did ring the owner but my finance company said it was too old and so I'm going for a newer one. Will post photos when it arrives. Cheers and Happy New Year All Ford Lovers Marky Mark
  6. This is a great topic guys - I had a beaut XR6 Turbo in Blueprint (my fave) a couple years back but then got silly and got married and bought a house and couldnt afford both the car and the house. I'm 31 (ripe old age) and have now been around the block a few times so to speak and for those young blokes out there thinking of offloading their cherished Turbo in lieu of a house - DON'T DO IT! - you will be miserable every time you see one drive past you while youre sitting at the traffic lights in your 'sensible family car'. I'm currently in the market now for getting myself another XR6T in Blueprint or Shockwave as I've finally got my finances sorted after years of struggling. Please let me know if anyone hears of any nice, but not too expensive ones going around in Adelaide or elsewhere. P.S. (wife has demanded I put on here that it was my choice to sell the car and wasn't forced to - she loved the car too
  7. I'm a XR6 Turbo admirer however not that great with mechanical details - I used to own an XR6 Turbo a few years back and was forced to sell however I miss it heaps and looking to get another one soon - my question: is it difficult/expensive to convert a standard XR6 to a Turbo and is there any major differences between them apart from the addition of a turbocharger?
