Yep, just the back section. Had the factory muffler cut off, replaced with 3" straight through muffler, & twin chrome tips as pic.. Deep note, not too loud.. Cost $300.00

Had it done today... very happy with the sound. Lovely deep note, not too load, no droaning. I will try to upload a sound file, attached is a pic of the chrome tips.

Here are some pics of the rear section, FG sedan exhaust. Getting it modified tomorrow. It is 3" and would flow pretty well I think. I just want a bit more noise & also twin chrome tips.

Mine is the same George !! I have owned sevweal BA turbos & they sound nothing like the FG..Much loader turbo whistle.. The burble on gear change under heavy acceleration sounds great I reckon !!.. How is your traction control working ??? I seem to get a lot of wheelspin with it on, the dash light flashes but still wheel spin. If I turned it of, I might be facing the other way

I use a product called Auto Glym leather care cream.. It is made in the UK. It is great !! my leather seats look and smell fantastic. Not cheap, $44.00 for a small bottle. But you cant put a price on well mainained leather

Yes, I use a lot of it...It comes in a roll. Depending what you want to stick, you may need to trim it. It has a silicone backing, simply peel it off and stick. Surface has to be clean!!

It is double sided adhesive tape. It is very strong, and wont damage your paintwork after removal.. How much do you need?? I can post you some. PM me your address

I will probably do something similar.. Had my FG up on the hoist at the exhaust shop. Was told that the front section was pretty good. Just need to replace the rear one with something a bit less restrictive. I also prfer the look of twin pipes rather than the stock tip. Keep me posted if you do it, would like to hear the difference. I will get a price, then we can compare.

Thanks for that.. I will mould the snorkel to clear the belt. Have you posted pics of the upper rubber seal ??? I would like to see some.

Just fitted the XR8 lower box and snorkel to my XR6T... Clearance seems fine, but I will keep an eye on it.. I had to grind quite a bit from the opening of the snorkel to get the bonet to close.. Another thing, that plastic screw that holds the snorkel on....it does not seem to tighten up very well. I test drove the car, and it feels good ! A good mod for $165.00

Hey Timboss, Yes, silver , red on black is do-able... Steering wheel garnish eh !!! Once I have the logo done I will set up a cutout for the garnish... I need to know the extremites of the G6E garnish (is it the same as my Fg XRT ???) Also, send me the black & white art in jpg. Ok, I will do front, boot & garnish for $50.00

Hi Timboss, The logo can be 2d only. no multiple colours in single characters. But the word turbo can be another colour, if you follow.. These will be machined out not printed. That is why I specified, black & white artwork. The artwork you have posted, is possible but the G6E would be 1 colour only, the turbo another if you like. I hope I have explained it clearly, if not let me know :

I have not had badges on ebay for about 18 months I reckon.. There were Xr vinyl stickers on ebay (they werent mine) I sold mainly XR and FPV badges

I just need a high res black & white image, either in jpg. or bitmap (jpg. prefered) I will then vectorise the art & add fill for the cnc machine. Send me something rough so I can have a look. No setup cost involved. A set of badges will cost $50.00 ready to stick on.

Hi, I can make the badges you require... I used to sell them on ebay. I have been playing with many ideas for a new look front and rear badge... The ones I used to sell just had the Xr on them. They are CNC machined, glossy clear acrylic material, infilled with the colour of choice..and stick over the existing badge, this way you dont have the hassle of removing the factory badge. I have a few new products that I have in mind. Get back to me with what you have in mind & maybe we can brainstorm something everyone will like (maybe the forum logo) just an Idea !!
