I don't have a turbo anymore. For the next few months I have only the naturally aspirated XR6 (then back to the turbo!). Haven't been on a cruise with this forum in years. Would it be OK if I tag along at the back, as to not get sucked into any intercoolers?

I was following behind your car for some time and would like to grab that raw footage if possible. Great setup you have. Oh that's not good if it popped. But was it like a burble? That's normal from my understanding. The FG Turbos shut down three cylinders under high load wide-open throttle overboost gear changes to save the box. It shortens the torque-off and torque-back-on-time between changes. My previous FG XR6T did that too, but I guess I've never heard what it sounds like from the outside. Ford Friends program will you get a $35,000 XR6 Turbo. Premium sound and tech pack are about $1000 extra (you get options at Privilege Club prices through this program) and then you have stealer delivery, stamp duty and registration. In Victoria stamp duty is 2.5% (so that's an extra $900), registration about $500, so that's $37,400. Even with dealer delivery and any other charges I've left out that's under $40,000, so it is possible, however not to the general public. N/A for $35,888 drive-away is an offer to the general public. Premium audio and tech pack will be $1500 and $500, so that's $2000, which makes $37,888. The same price as a 6 Turbo through the excellent Ford Friends program available at the moment.

At the moment through the Ford Friends program you can get the latest FG XR6T Sedan (April 09 with the improved fuel efficiency) for $35k brand new. $30k if you're a ute man. Outstanding value.

That would have been me parked next to you in the BFII SR. Nice set of wheels. You can see the note in the photo too. I've seen your car around a fair bit and it always stood out. I recently ordered an XR6T (waiting on delivery) so I'm new to the forums and came across your signature one day while browsing which connected the dots.
