my car has same noise, but the last two days its no longer only on idle, its very slightly there under normal driving too, much louder on startup. My mechanic had mentioned my manifold gasket was worn and it will need replacing soon, so im hoping this is the issue otherwise that two problems to fix, its going to the mechanic this week so I'll let you know. I dont expect a small bill considering all the bits need to come off. Ill keep you posted

no problem. was meaning there is no other option for a xdrill and slotted from DBA to suit the car without the wanky gold colour. if they crack and its early days one would think of sending them back like a frisbee.

dont really like the gold colour. agree and think its a bit wanky also. but do prefer xdrilled and slotted. so no real other option.

Looking at changing the rotors and pads. Have had a few places recommend Hawk Ceramic Pads which I have never heard of before. Doing a upgrade so will include 4 pot Brembos from an FPV, DBA42102XS rotors. Anyone used the Hawk Ceramic pads? Well do a fluid flush and replacement also. If not used Hawk before any experience with Ceramic pads at all?
