It didn't have 496hp at the treads at the time of the runs. Unless it was backed off at the 1000' and rolled through the traps. Otherwise it would have went 122-124mph.

The stock turbo is rated at 450kw at the flywheel. This means 400rwkw is pushing it, and anything more is over spinning it. 500rwkw could be achieved with nitros, but I don't see why you would bother. Get yourself a 4094, 4294 or 4202.

Is this a trick question? Your car weighs 400kg more and has twice the power? Your running with a full drag set up and he is running with a turbo you could fit between your thumb and forefinger?

Is it a wastegate issue or a BOV issue? There is no reason for a BOV to be flapping open as they are boost referenced. Specs on the car are often helpful, is it stocko or tuned? Maybe the boost solenoid isn't working correctly?

Is it really important if its Ford or FPV, they are both pretty much the same car at this level. Its not like its comparing handling, unopened, etc. Is it just so someone else can claim the FPV one? Some people will make a record for anything.

A slower et gives the car more time to accelerate, often resulting in a higher mph. Good traction gets you to the other end quicker and at the same time reduces the time its accelerating over.

The rolling diametre is the least of your concerns. Its the additional weight of the wheel, plus the lack of traction. When you let a tyre down that has a decent sidewall, the tyre patch on the road lengthens and can almost double. With a low profile you, airing them down does very little.

107mph suggests you probably didnt have 308rwkw on the night. But 107mph should still be able to run a high 12, or at least a low 13.

Why would you spend money when you dont have to? If it doesnt go bang, you have just saved yourself lots of coin. If it does, too bad, at least now you know you had to build it.
