  1. had the engine and tranny out it had hot spots on it and mechanic suggested to resurface it, thought it made sence to clutch seems like it grabs better. but yea now its clicking :/
  2. hey ive just recently had my flywheel resurfaced and just as I was leaving the place I noticed a ticking noise. the mechanic said he wasnt sure what it could be but it was yesterday, being the last day before his christmas holidays and wouldnt be able to look at it again for a couple weeks. the car is drivable the ticking speeds up and down with the revs and is always at a consistent level of noise anyone have any ideas on a fix? heres a short video under the car http://http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9kkYpl4QYd4

  5. ive got a obd2 reader and comes up with no errors. the oil pressure light was still on but I wanted to try get it home yeah its modded, injectors, fuel pump, exhaust, cooler and intake
  6. yeah ive tryed jump starting with my boat battery, the engine still turns over. just doesnt start. so I dont think its seized if it still turns over clutch starting it doesnt work either. its weird because I got it working for 10mins and then it died. so confused with what the problem could be
  7. hey guys, I was driving along and felt a sudden loss of power, the oil pressure light came on at the same time. Straight away I pulled over and turned the engine off. Waited about 10 mins and checked the oil level and was fine. I tried to start the engine and it wouldnt start, it was as if the battery was flat.. the engine wouldnt turn over. I had a couple mates help push start the car and got it going again to try get it home. On idle it sounded like a ticking noise from the engine, going faster as rpm went up. After 10 mins, cruising at 2000rpm it started to smell like oil and then the engine just turned off! tryed the key to start and didnt start, put it in gear and tried to roll start it and nothing.. was showing the rpm although. When trying to key start it, the engine turned over but it didnt fire. had to get towed home! ive checked: fuses fuel line and filter starter motor spark plugs oil and just under the car in general. the car wasnt blowing smoke, wasnt over heating, and engine was smooth as ever when on. Anyone have ideas what has happened or what to do?
  8. helloo ive got a BF2 xr6t ute 70,000kms yesterday I was driving along, gave it some from take off and got a bucket load of axle tramp. after that happened it sounded like my tyre was rubbing on the guard, like a scrubbing noise from the rear, 1 scrub per wheel rotation. inspected and nothing is touching and no damage to tyres. it barley makes the noise during cruise but with deceleration its quite loud and obvious. also when accelerating the car shudders lightly so im thinking something towards the diff. I have changed the oil in it not long ago and never made any noise before. or could it have something to do with the wheel bearings? anyone had this problem or have an idea what mine could be? thanks
  9. yeh under load its smooth and pulls as hard as ever, when on idle.. its crap. might aswell put the old ford plugs back in and see if it makes a difference. cars.... such a waste of time lol
  10. hi, ive got a problem with my idle. once warmed up the car vibrates. stronger then usual, and only at idle. no idea what it could be, ive had it looked at by my tuner and the cars idle a/r are perfect, sits on 650-710rpm consistant giving it accelerator to 800rpm the vibrating stops if im rolling in neutral it doesnt feel to be vibrating theres no surging, backfire, accelerates normal. the sparkplugs are only 20,000 kms old and ive checked all the gaps its not a vacuum leak ive cleaned out the TB and the gasket is fine. changed the oil engine mounts look to be in place anything im missing? doing my head in

  12. not sure how the oil would look after a year of sitting, maybe check that out. and maybe get some octane booster so u dont kill it as your testing. 8lb is a fair bit extra all I can think to do is go over your turbo housing to solenoid to actuator hoses. if one of those were cracked or something it would lead to over boost also 100% accelerator then try turn the car on for 10secs. it wont start because I knows youve got your foot on the accelerator, after 10 secs just take ya foot off and let it start. thatll reset the cam and throttle sensor. worth a try

  14. hey mate can you post a pic of your cold side cooler setup?? ive got a HDI gt2 as well and not a fan of it running back around the engine. what kinda intake manifold do you have?

PCMSCAN v2.4.12 install it and use the key generator to get a account does dyno, 0-100, 1/4 all that reads engine lights tells u what they are. does everything. ive made a boost script if anyone wants it.
  21. Yeh 60lb dekas. Haven't had a chance to put the power down yet it keeps raining. I did put my foot down once and the short term shot up to +26% On startup idle it sits on -5% STFT and -25% LTFT im getting a engine light after a couple minutes of start up saying its too rich
  22. did some logging on long and short term fuel trim. I do get awesome economy although and the power is great. BUTTTT.. -25% ??? I thought 0% was perfect and A/Rs should be nothing more then +or- 12% of 14.7/1 thoughts?
  23. I had a clunk, tuned out to be the tow bar rattling around. but theres still another clunking noise when going over sharp bumps like somethings tapping the back of my car and the creek when going around a corner at slow speed every now and again. does my head in
