  1. Quick update I got a new battery about a week ago, and it hasnt failed to start first go since...touch wood!
  2. I know this is a bit of a slow reply... But yeah I have the exact same problem with mine. Auto elec couldnt find a fault, Ford couldnt find a fault... Auto elec suggested it could possibly be this thing that sorta determines how much fuel it puts in. Said that or fuel pump, but I dont think its the fuel pump because its faultless anywhere else... I find that the better the fuel I put in, the less it will happen, maybe 30-50% of the time with 91, 20% of the time with 95, and about 10% of the time with 98 stuff...
  3. Nice rig mate! Ive got the 2nd CAI and a K&N filter, and had my muffler removed. All up its cost about $220, theres a little bit more power, not much but still noticable. The muffler removal cost $50 and it makes a good noise when under load, but cruising along you cant hear it, as in it sounds stock. You might want to check with your local Ford dealer, but the blokes at mine said that K&N filters do not void warranty, as Ford approve of them. Sam

Today I got my rear muffler taken off and replaced with a straight bit of pipe and the stock tip put back on. Got to keep the muffler too for if I want to change it back, all up was $50. As for sound its just what I was after, good growl when accelerating but when im coasting/cruising its as if everything has been left untouched (absolutely no 'drone' or anything!).
  5. I have an 05 BF, 6spd Auto, 170,000km, average is 9.0L, but that is about 90% freeway kms though!
