  1. within a couple of killer wasps... if your getting good launches (sub 2.2 second 60" times) then this calculator is very good. funnily enough, it assumes you have traction!
  2. using your calculator for my BF when it had 208rwkw, it gives me an ET of 14.46 @ 99.7mph I actually ran a 13.38 @ 105.5
  3. you might like this one, its quite accurate at telling you what power you have according to your 1/4 mile time Power Calculator (drags) 97.xls
  4. with old pipe work it made 267rwkw @8psi after new pipes now making 277rwkw @ 8.5 psi with fatter power curve, torque starts at 900nm and tapers off to about 650nm
  5. mate any exhaust place can cut out a muffler and replace with straight pipes, if they cant they have problems!
  6. powdercoating cost was about 30 for the lot. I have a bov underneath the cold side pipe next to the intake manifold
  7. arent there already heavy spring washers under the manifold bolts though? I havent had any issues with these loosnening on my car... how about belleville washers?
  8. g lock? is that like a spring washer?
  9. I wonder why they didnt do 3" all the way? would have been much cheaper for them! propably noise issues....
  10. as much as we would all love to see some test results and data, this testing will never happen....
  11. so what size is the standard fg exhaust?
  12. make sure you point it in the same direction the tube is travelling, otherwise it will happen again....
  13. worse when cold? could be the exhaust manifold or inlet manifold bolts....
  14. I replaced my crossover and under battery pipe on the standard tune and my boost readings didnt change at all... I dont think they are worth the effort long 2.25" pipe runs and a restrictive cooler are the problems, so if your retaining the factory pipes, I would leave the crossover as is.... even though it flattens out, it doesnt reduce area.... and even though the UBP changes shape, it also doesnt reduce(I cut it open an measured it) so nothing really to be gained there either.... hope that helps
  15. what oil was the motor run in on? if its had multiple tunes and your circuit racing while using 0w-40, then yeah you would have used a fair bit of oil... especially if it has exessive blow by might be a good idea to put an oil sep/catch can and monitor it... maybe use some 10w next time and see how it goes...
  16. wont be easy to find, unless you can buy them seperately from autometer I think the BOV line is 5mm (im not 100% on that) but I would get some 4mm vacuum hose and force it over the t piece with some lube, then slip the white boost line in side of it and hose clamp it make sure when you fix it you have the hose pointing in the right direction so it doesnt happen again! its getting stress cracks because its trying to bend towards the drivers side...
  17. I also have a modded stock system, has the small xforce 2 x 2.5" muffler installed, and 2.5" hotdogs at rear, its loud, but sounds good! and 100cpi 5" cat
  18. so fpvs didnt get it and XR6Ts did get it? let us know what you find
  19. twin 2.5", twin cats, fully independant for each turbo sounds about right.... if your going hardcore numbers, id be looking at dual 3" what magic numbers are you aiming for?
  20. maybe the hangers need to be modified, or extra ones added??
  21. is the lowest point the cat? if it is, then changing to 2 x 2.5 isnt going to help... the dump may have to be modified....
  22. how far from the ground does you exhaust sit? my stock exhuast scrapes....but it sits only 80mm off the ground
  23. hmmmm, maybe my BF owners manual has a misprint of approx 4 pages (all about DSC and what it does) pages 137 to 141 Believe me, it has DSC, not TC.... The DSC button has a car with skid marks following it. TC has a picture of a wheel spinning flicking up dirt
  24. as the title says, I wanted to see how people have mounted their filter in front of the rocker cover. something that looks neat, im after some ideas. please post up some pics. ive seen people use cable ties, but wanted to see something a bit better than that... thanks alot
  25. does the needle in your boost gauge flutter when it gets on boost? that's a sign of a boost leak too
