what sort of fuel consumption is average for these cars? 13-14L/100 on the trip?

Im looking into buying a BF MKII Turbo. lets assume the car has 40-50,000 kms on it what common problems, signs of abuse, things to avoid, or any tell tale signs should I be on the look out for? thanks

im not sure how they achieve their RON ratings, but I know that the only difference between the 2 brands of fuel is colour, which is added by shell or caltex to differentiate brands, because that's the only difference...

when it comes to fuel shell supplies bp and caltex supplies mobil the only difference between shell v-power and bp ultimate is the dye that shell puts in the fuel to distinguish between the two, but they both perform and comply to the same spec. and same goes for caltex and mobil.... the difference between the fuels that people feel is more to do with the cleanliness of the servos tanks and maybe dishonest servo operators playing with fuel for profit, rather than the brand of the fuel... because in reallity BP fuel is actually shell fuel. a good friend of mine works at shell..

thanks guys, im not after huge power, about 280rwkw??? was only looking at doing injectors,cat and a custom tune...

as the topic says, which one is the smaller link in the chain, if it is the injectors, then what size injectors can the Std fuel pump safely service... thanks
