  3. that's the height I was hoping for. Think I'm going to struggle!!! Are they 19's Insane??? By the looks of it, its just on tyre at the front and a riding a bit of tyre at the rear? Also, what offsets are your wheels?
  4. Are you training your biceps with another muscle group or by themselves? I was training them with back, so I would mostly do 2 (sometimes 3) bi exercises as they get used in your back movements. But the last few weeks of my training they were getting separated with tri's and I would do 4 of each. As for type of exercises, with back I'd do a preacher and incline seated db, followed by a light pump set with a bar curl or cable curl. When with tri's I'd do something like; close grip bench/bar curl lying overhead ext/hammer dips/seated incline db pressdowns/preacher

  6. If you play sport aswell, you have to eat more again if you want to put on size. It's also not just about protein and carbs, you have to have a high calorie intake. Do you have a weight goal you want to get to?

  8. Are you training for a powerlifting comp? Mack, you need to eat more to put on weight/size and up the reps.
  9. There's no good food in there, vegies etc.. also most of his cals are from sugars, energy drinks, choc chip pancakes, bread and pasta. But its obvisously works being the most successful olympic athelete in history.

  14. Bad luck mate. What rest periods do you have between sets? Had my first sesh back at the Righouse last night in 4.5 weeks. Felt like a first timer with the weights I was lifting and bloody sore already!!
  15. that's a good effort, well done! Same I use chalk, also do use straps on some exercises
  16. Yeah it does, rest periods is another crucial factor. I wouldn't smash through the reps though. That type of training you said Mike is Time Under Tension training, it works well for me but bloody hurts!! The set should go for 45sec to a minute, min of 12 reps and 3-5sec negatives then explode up, then a 3min rest period. Its better to do it with a lighter weight as you really need to control the movement on the way down. Should only do it for say 3 weeks at a time though.

  18. Wasn't trying to say it in a negative way mate, just trying to help. But for the guys that go to a gym often, it wouldn't go astray to speak to a trainer and get them to show you the correct form.
  19. 100% Pazzo, you will gain a lot more if you concentrate on the movement and squeeze instead of going for world records. But saying that, you don't have to train this way day in day out. Mix it up!! I dont agree with Wingnut though, when saying its hard to know when you're going to heavy. If your bringing in muscles that shouldn't be in the movement into it its too heavy, if you're struggling with correct form after few reps its too heavy, if you're not using correct form its too heavy. But its hard because most guys don't know what correct form is.
  20. So the mrs said I had Traction apophysitis of the supinator on the radial head. And in english, its basically a tendonitis (possible tear) due to overuse and/or using too heavy weights as Freeze said.   21. I always eat like a machine, its part of the reason I got crook! Have to cut back a bit because my liver is shot!! But yeah I know it wont take me long, going to set a goal of 118kg by the end of the year.
  22. Im soft?? Did spend 8 days in hospital so does that make me less soft?? ha Hopefully it doesn't take too long to get the 12kgs I lost back.
  23. This happened to me a few years back, and has happened to alot of guys I know. Cant remember the technical term of what the issue was, will asked the mrs and get back to you. To help with it though, I bought tennis elbow straps which I found helped.
  24. Oh no good.. What did the scans say? Prob nothing??? Its good its getting better know though! Will be heading back to the gym tonight after 4 weeks off.. im going to be fkn sore!!!
