  5. Hi Folks, Does anyone have any photos of a standard engine bay they can send to me, the car needs to be shockwave in colour with a black engine bay, I need this so the insurance company will give me a policy, they say its for valuation puropses but they just want to see if there is any mods done. This could save me a bit of time putting it back to standard just to take a photo. Your help would be much appreciated. E-mail me any pics to d_s_alexander77@yahoo.com Thanks again
  6. Evening all, Wondering if you can help me, im trying to find what spec and model number the coil pack / spark plug leads are on my 2005 BA mk2 xr6 turbo and where I can get a new set from. I live in scotland so if you gave me a part number for the leads I might be able to get some over here from a different vehicle. Many thanks David
  7. What do you mean when you say turn the pipe around, which pipe?
  8. Can anyone tell me the part numbers for Ferodo brake pads both the DS2000 and the DS2500 front and rear for a 2005 BA mk2 xr6t ute?
  9. Cheers for the advice lads, ive ordered my braided lines from OZ and have sourced a DBA dealer in Scotland and he is getting me DBA 4000 6x6 wiper slots all round, just trying to track down some ferodo brake pads. What are the id numbers for the DS2500 pads for standard callipers front and rear on a BA mk2 xr6t ute?, these would be appreciated so I can pass on numbers to dealer
  10. I got a APS exhaust made up for my turbo ute, love the note it gives out and had no problems with it, only thing I had was the exhaust was fitted then I got my ute lowered and the exhaust was hitting the rear axal but took it back to them and they changed the angles slightly to give me more clearance, But very pleased with it
  11. Its cost a few hundred pounds to sort out for registration, change speedo facia to mph, if you import it you have to owned it for a set period and still own it for another period before you can sell the vehicle but no chance of that. Had to change fuel injectors back to standard items and put standard tune in from flash tuner to pass immissions, but once passed back with the big boys. Have got a lot of good comments about the ute, everyone so far loves it and had a few offers to buy it, dont think the car would stand out so much as the ute though as we dont really have much pick ups over here.
  12. Originaly from Scotland but immigrated over there when I was 25, traveled around then settled in Perth where I bought my 2005 BA mk2 xr6t ute new then gots some mods done at BPT performance. I already have the fuel pump fitted along with mal wood clutch, upgraded valve springs, 3 1/2 inch st/st exhaust, high flow fuel injectors, actuator on turbo changed, plazmaman intercooler and piping, 19 inch speedy alloys, koni shocks front and leaf springs changed at back with king springs all round. I moved back to scotland after living in OZ for 5 years, and placed it in the same shipping container as my house furniture, before the intercooler and piping went on it was sitting at 460bhp at rear wheels. Is good here in scotland as blowing most things but very tail happy. In process of upgrading the brakes for 4000 DBA 6x6 wiper slots with braided hoses and ferodo performance pads.........and I take the low road....lol
  13. How much power can you get out the BA mk2 engine before you should look at changing or upgrading the internals? I have plazmaman XR6 Ford Intercooler kit - Stage 1 , can this be repiped to allow me to put the air induction straight onto the turbo , what options can I do with this kit without having to buy all new parts? If I do make changes will the engine tune I have need retuned as no one over here worked with xr6t falcons before as ive been told that the throttle responce is much better.
  14. Im looking into getting some DBA 4000 series rotors for my 2005 BA turbo ute to get rid of the brake shudder, is the drilled and slotted DBA 4000 series rotors any good or are they just good looking as dont know whether to go for drilled and slotted or just the slotted rotors. What pads do you think goes best with these rotors? Im also planning to change the brake lines for braided lines, hopefully that makes a difference
