  3. ok where do I start, my missus one day hit a gutter smashing left front and back. its making a warp noise when driving over 80km/h. so I replaced two tyres on the left side. that didnt work, replace bearings on the two front. where the right one fell to pieces while taking it off. still making noise. so replace front hub. still no difference. spent almost $600 on parts and abit of labbour and im really over it. should I risk doin the rear hub as well ????? im so over it lol bloody woman drivers haha. btw its a 2009 mitsibishi lancer es sedan!!

  6. thnx for all your help guys. I took everyones examples and found it was one of the bearing on the fan belt that was making the noise. it was turning at full capacity and once I gave it abit of throttle it found it hard. so I changed the bearing and now its fine thnx all for your help
  7. it has been done before. I know a bloke that loves playing with his car and recently put a twin turbo in the a ba xr6t though u never see him out on the road cause he always has something new to do to it. last time I saw the car it was a metallic orange but now I hear that its lime green. unsure in which turbo he used but he put in on the dyno and got 600kw at about 800hp. if u need a hand on the conversion let us know and ill ask him to give u a ring if hes interested in helping that is. though im sure he will
  8. I could try but I doubt it you will hear it. could this create lag?
  9. hi all :holiday: my car is making a funny noise coming from the turbo I think. it only happens when the car is still fairly cold. I always let the car warm up for about 5 minutes though if a little bit of throotle is given the noise appears. this does not hapen when the car is in nuetral that's why im guessing its the turbo. after about 5 min of driving the noise goes. im htinking its the bearing in the turbo. has anyone had the same problem or heard of this problem be4. I recently got this car 4 months ago. could some1 also tell me if it is the bearing how dangerous it is to the turbo and prices to get it fixed thanks all and I hope some1 could help me
