well I dont know if I have it but theres wires running to where the switch is meant to go. but theres no traction control light on the dash though so I dont think so. but thatnks for the help guys . just couldnt be bothered buying a switch and finding out it doesnt work. cheers

I've got a ba xr6 04 n/a and under the fog light button on the dash is a button that cannot be pressed and it has no print. this is where traction control usually goes. the other day I pulled it out and I noticed that it had some wires leading to this dummy button. light blue, black, blue/white, blue/purple connected to a green plug. if I get a traction control button, will I be able to turn it off? cheers nick

tonight I tried to remove a blow globe . the one from the boot. problem is when I took it out I tried to put the housing back in the slot and I think the black wire touched the parcel tray underneath ( actual body) then a few sparks flew. problem now is no interior lights or reading lights will work except fot the ignition ring. have I blown a fuse or something? if so where is it located? any help would be appreciated cheers nick

I've checked and that was my firts option but I dont have the wires and plugs.

hi. I'm looking at getting some footwell neons in my car. just wondering if anyone else has done it. I want it to be switch controlled from under the dash. what exactly do I cut and connect? also can it be connected from behind the ciggy lighter or do I need to tap into the fuse panel. I aint that great with wiring. any help would be great. any tutorials around? cheers nick

hey mate. u can use an aux input. it just a cable that plugs in from behind the fuse panel. there should be two plugs. also for handsfree. just go to your local ford dealer and ask them. they can help you. or ebay. a few on there too. you will be looking at around $35.00. this is what I use. works great. about a 45 min install. hope this helps mate. -
I know this is abit late but to fix it u have to format your ps3. I had the same problem and lost everything. u do it through options menu.it couldnt read dvds or nothing even usb. since then its been all sweet.
