Guys, after custom flash tuning a BA5spd XR6Turbo with roughly 270RWKs @ 11PSI, what sort of torque should it produce, I have dyno sheet but can not understand it, it shows 1042 NM. Is this possible? Coz high tourqe V8 only produce arround 600NM after any tunes. If it is really 1042 nm I cant stop loving my car then and will blow V8s away.

Guys, some of you might wanna know, I had all sort of starting problems with my BA XR6T.After a lots of efforts and waist of money from different mechanics, and problem was eventually diagnosed from Ford Dealers. Guess what...I weren't running right engine oil. I used 20w-50, cheapest available. Only oil can be used is 10W-60 to keep right oil pressure and performance. Cheers

Guys, I own a XR6 TURBO 5spd with 270 RWK.I am thinking of buying a new car, so I went and test driven three cars today. FG FPV GTP, new HSV GTS, FPV F6 all 6spd.I never driven a V8 car before, so this was my first time and really excited about 310KW+ power. But I was absolutely stunned by V8s.I felt like I am driving a 4cyl Tyota Camery or something. HSV GTS was a bit better then FPV GTP but I am wondering WHY do they still make V8s.After driving FG F6, I felt exactly same kick as my XR6T and all you need is a tune to take it 350+ RWKs and 1000NM torque. But these both V8s has to be supercharged, spending 15k+ and 20L/100 ks fuel. So according to my experience, don’t even bother V8s if you are after good performance car with better fuel economy. FPV F6 and XR6T is the only answer.

Hi guys, I have brought a XR6T MK1 5 speed man,upgraded intercooler,exhaust,air intake,injectors,My question is,what is the safest maximum RWKW for a MK1 5sp,including engine,and gearbox,I do not mind putting a new heavy duty clutch,but sticking with same 5spd box.Please advice
