  4. so guys, are we allowed to do this? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kMwsYs3DmLc
  5. haha grogran!
  6. its just off Abernathy Rd (near the truck places) where kids used to ride dirtbikes. near Kewdale BP. near airport
  7. ohhh so you got the FG with the hands free option? I didnt. so yelling at my stereo doesnt do anything haha
  8. if you retain the cast alloy bottom half, and do a steel half, you will discover heat and cooling properties of the two metals are different. so you will have leaks
  9. spotted [XR 60] on fwy south - is he on here? black XR6T ute, with brembos, hardlid, dark agent rims (assumed it at 100kmh lol), and a cannon (which looked good!)
  10. isnt there a stretch territory?
  11. I think the NA 6s have it. but I know the Phoon doesnt. im pretty sure it could be an overlap factor. the 3540 spools early, and im guessing due to that fact, they dropped the long runners on the turbos eg: this is a dyno sheet of when the EF was N/A (and running an AFR in the 8s, but we can ignore that cos it doesnt affect rpm switching) as you can see, there is a distinct drop of power at the point of runner switching
  12. mike, its the EF/L BBM. basically, below 3800rpm the butterflys are closed, making the air use the long runners, promoting torque when the car hits 3800rpm the runners open and the air uses the short runners. falcons are far more responsive with the butterflys in. its a common mod for EA-Ds too. gives about a 10% power increase
  13. silver xr6t.. DZTURBD or something?
  14. EF XR6Ts ftmfw but mines not on gas what's your pumping out? what are your plans for it?
  15. my old setup on the EF... there's no new photos due to the fact I have to relocate the catch can due to the Plenum used teflon/stainless braided lines for the hoses fittings on rocker

    Fg Mods

suspension wise, there are finally products filtering through springs are available, as are Tein coilovers. whiteline swaybars are done, well the rears are, they are still finalising the front swaybars
  17. hahahha sweet. rain is the great leveller giving XR8s a chance against the turbos hahah
  18. it turns Matte, but not very well at all. haha. basically front runners + spool = epic understeer lol anyways, its something I can sort out on the dyno. my tuner (mick @ Ovaboost) is good when it comes to fair prices, and he's pretty keen the workshop tuning another drag car. (he's got a 9second 2JZ powered Torana) so ill just pay him to sort it out. or I could drive it up and done my street. they are used to the EF (which rattles windows on idle haha)
  19. haha on the street? its got 31x13x15 tyres, front runners and a chute! lol yeh dyno is ok idea matte, that's a great idea... im a member of WASCC already (used to drift the EF there) only issue is, my car isnt engineered to turn. it really cant turn. haha
  20. what do I win for this? hahah
  21. ok ive been in discussion regarding the (short) motor im looking at... just waiting on postage costs. now how do I run in a motor on a car that I cant drive on the road? or drive at the Motorplex (I dont have the ANDRA licence yet) lol
  22. yeh should be fine. the rims are getting brought up from Albany... so im hoping that will be prior to the 17th
  23. do a search on [F6F] (username: wrxrw) - black BF F6 on black FR19s ive got them arriving 2moro (fingers crossed) - black FG XR8 on black FR19s
  24. if its class, how come a XG ute had one? its not really an issue pushing it to start, you get used to it. but you look like a goose when you hop into another car and reach for the dash
