unsure, but ford said it will take the abuse. only single plate, they dont do twin plate options for the XRs :( car is July 2008, 11,000km old the clutch has taken some abuse. drift practice & antilag cruise.

well, not under warranty, and to be honest, oh well I still have the car warranty :D haha OEM clutch - $4500 fitted stronger high performance clutch - $2500 fitted so im doing the $2500 for high performance clutch, new pressure plate and lightened flywheel :D fitted btw, my clutch had no meat on it left, my pressure plate was like a cheesegrater, and my flywheel was blue ish

very happy - both cars accepted into Motorvation :D FG and XR6T :D

really? because this clutch has ALWAYS rattled. and I put it down to being a twin plate thanks for that info

damn it lol! but my car is stock (apart from lowered and tint)... fingers crossed lol the new T606 boxes in the XRs.. are they twin plate? and worst case (you have got me worried lol), how much would I be looking at?

these cars have datalogging right? so they can see speed/rpm/time/etc? if so, they then will see there werent any burnout preceding the clutch failure on sunday

I had epic clutch failure yesterday arvo, the FG had to coast down my street into my driveway basically went for a coastal drive (averaging 15kmh to 50kmh for about an hour), then parked up in Hillarys for 2hrs. upon leaving Hillarys I noticed the clutch was slipping - I thought it might be a heat issue (37 degree day) but driving on the freeway (6th gear, 95kmh) it was flaring to 5000rpm upon the slightest touch of the throttle (and even the cruise control buttons) ... and white smoke was billowing out :( so im waiting for the tilt tray to arrive at my house (after Ford sent a Roadside assistance car to tell me that my clutch is f*cked, and then they sent a tow-van (like WTF?) and it couldnt tow my car, so im waiting for a tilt tray now) its going to the nearest Ford dealership (cos its a free tow lol), that being Titan Ford. warranty time... the car has done only 11,000km :(

I believe I am/was taking one of those spots ... he called me a fortnight or so (early in the morning too lol) telling me a mate couldnt make it and that since its already been paid for, I just have to give him the $ on the day
