cheers haha. the XR8 isnt getting modded (despite the Tein suspension, brembos and R-comp tyres lol)... got the capri to build up btw, still doing some info searching regarding the BA cams (supposedly the stock BF F6 cams are better than aftermarket ones) with my motor haha. yeh last night was good... really wish I had my XR6T going... was the kind of cruise that the turbo would of loved.

hey guys, how much do you think this would be worth on trade in 2006 BF Phoon - STOCK mercury silver 6spd manual Brembos - 4pot front, single pot rear 18" factory rims factory seude interior premium sound 35,000km approx dyno'd - 298.9rwhp (accidently with a tank of Vortec 95 :( got it confused).. with a boost leak not holding 8psi... since rectified full log book history or service history... what ever its called dad thinks it will be amusing to make me have the slowest FG in the family he's putting a deposit on a FG F6 ute next week, and im unsure if at the same time (or a few weeks later) a FG F6 sedan for mum

there's some going for under $20k but spend the extra to get the ZF 6spd or T56.

yeh, nobody was open today. im gonna try again 2moro the ford in SA arent open until the 5th, so yeh. got time to get the Malwood clutch the lightened flywheel and pressure plate are already here, and are correct, but the clutch isnt so would the malwood clutch be fine with the "HD" pressure plate?

Ross that sucks bigtime! is the ute overheating? if not, then its not a heater core pipe/hose btw, FG 4 pot and BF 6 pot have the same brackets just need to bolt it on to confirm, but im 100% certain its identical

oh man this is a joke aye. they still dont have a clue.. they sent the dead clutch to South Aus so the people there can visually look at my clutch and the ones they have in stock. but the South Aus people dont get back (from holidays) until Monday (5th Jan) ... which will be the 3 week mark. and then they still have to find a clutch to suit. and then send it back. its going to be a 4 week f*cking job. im going to be contacting Ford very shortly regarding some form of compensation. its a f*cking joke!

spotted a purple XR6T ute this arvo on Tonkin hwy... state plates. got some killer flutter happening.. and launched hard from the lights... the front suspension was fully stretched... was expecting the front wheels to lift off

im an ROV pilot (underwater robotics). enough said. lol

so how the f*ck can ford order the correct flywheel, correct pressureplate, yet order a clutch with the incorrect amount of splines? LOL turns out Ford parts have the STOCK clutch and also the heavy duty clutch, as having a coarse spindle. (input shaft) where in fact XR8s have fine spindles. its a part number error! so the aftermarket, and the factory clutch WONT fit. gahh. anyways they are calling up bulk manufacturers, including Texaustralia (or whatever its called) for a replacement clutch so the FG will be at ford until at least Wednesday = the 9th day at Ford for a replacement clutch. FFS

yeh. had to slum it due to the FG being still at Ford

clutches are single plate 290mm and mine died in 11,000km with spirited driving (track work and skids) and their input shafts have fine spindles, compared to the old coarse spindles. so it wont fit

I FINALLY did a carsales add for the xr6t. haha but it looks good so hopefully I get a few calls

21, living with parents and working offshore got FG for $53500 and on finance... got about $20k left to pay ordered it back in March, and got it July, so im locked into a 10% interest rate... sucks the bigone but hey, im 100% happy with the car I could of paid it off by now, but ive thrown $14k ish at it for mods (Simmons rims, Brembos, tein suspension, tint, spoiler, etc) and ive got the other toys too haha

its always going to be the case. last year, my EF XR6T didnt get in. now this year, it has. as so has my FG XR8 now with the FG, at times I feel like does it really belong at MV? then I think, I have spend $4k on rims/tyres, $4k on suspension, $5k on brakes, then tint, slight body modifications (GTE spoiler) its not much... but its better than some of the accepted cars. ill just do my limiter skids in EF
