manifold - $1300 (6boost) gate - $800 (tial 44mm or progate 50mm) compressor wheel + compressor plate + comp cover < $1k (through MTQ in malaga) and last time I was there, MTQ needed 0.5A/R housings badly, and were doing straight swaps with the 0.7A/R ones they had exducer = outer blades edges inducer = inner plate edges I made you a pretty photo lol eg: when I upgraded my XR6Ts turbo, the specs were front A/R 0.70 front wheel: inducer = 66mm, exducer = 84mm rear A/R 1.15 rear wheel: inducer = 50mm, exducer = 75mm
haha. ran a 15.2 NA, ran a 15.2 turbo. ive had sooooo many issues, cracked manifold, no boost, joiners coming off (until I got t-bolts), dead transmissions, blown diff, etc

yep T51R SPL ... not ball bearing version... journal bearings have faster response time (just slightly) than ball bearing little schoolroom lesson for those out of the know there are 4 kinds of HKS T51Rs ... KAI have smaller compressor wheels compared to the SPLs and then you can get the Journal Bearing (oil cooled) and Ball Bearing (oil/water cooled).
not many updates.. given up on trying to get the original engine plates to suit the chassis of the capri. so im getting newies made up bought some toys today new seat... lightweight as f*ck.. ill keep Simpson Hornet plastic seat as a spare to piss everybody off and im picking up a HKS T51R with 1.01 rear housing next week has a purple front wheel nut. lol
stock turbos are good for 400kw ish if I remember right. so theres no need to change it. get a new oil filter too.. ive read those block up and starve the turbo of oil
yeh get the std turbo back on. wont need a tune. unlike if you changed its specs or went to a bigger turbo yeh. theres only a few cars with ceramic wheels... usually the oldskool soarers I believe... as in older spec IHI turbos iirc
the 3540 is generally the largest T3 flanged turbo you can get. so you would have to get an aftermarket turbo if you wanted to get a bigger turbo. saying that, you could put a larger compressor housing on the turbol.. you dont want a larger rear one (1,06 is fine). 3540s generally are $2300 approx new from Garrett, and you can pick up good condition 2nd handies for $1k

haha it is... I put the number plates on a different car and yeh. haha 300rwhp with slipping clutch is on the Ovaboost dyno... which is a well known low reading dyno, and isnt done in shootout mode
haha ive 2 more sets for sale a set of 18" BA GTP rims (7 spoke ones). 2 with no scratches. 1 with little scratches. 1 with big gutter rash. all have tyres. no centrecaps $1k
take it to a dyno that's "happy", put it in shootout mode, make the "intake sensor" in a really really hot location, and the 'actual air temp" sensor in a cold place. whallah! high HP for just a $65 dyno run
ok... its in the programming for the ESP/ABS ... any advances in fixing it yet? in BA/BFs they did... but now, its XTs same same headlights more like a cup of shudder I love my XT
yeah ive got them. get the EDFC as well, it allows you to adjust the dampening in-cabin at the drags I found: softest setting - bounced on bumpstops hardest setting - wheelspin here's some photos. I still gotta wind down the rear end an inch or so
ross.... the brembos match my wrists.. all red n stuff the Ovaboost dyno is netorious (spelling?) for being a low reading dyno. but yeah, numbers on dyno mean nothing learnt that a long time ago Mick's Torana (super street) runs 9s ... not many workshops can say they have run 9s so im confident in Ovaboost the Estimated Time of Completion... Simon (gonzo) from allfast is away for another 3 weeks... it will take about 3 weeks to get the box landed in Oz... so im guessing in 3 months time it shall be running cheers got a few more to post once I get some progress
