just wondering 1) who's stupid enough to buy a 8 over a 6T 2) and what have they run down the 1/4? last night I got 13.711 @ 104.52 mph 60ft - 2.241 tyres - 235/40/R18 nexen n6000s (control tyre for No Limits competion im in) - cheap china compliance tyres - $140 fitted and balanced spec hahaha the vehicle is STOCK - factory exhaust, factory air filter. suspension - coilovers transmission - 6spd manual car had full tank of fuel and the spare wheel (19" rim) in the boot still, a long with all the loose sh*t that's in the car still can get better out of the car too. still had bad axle tramp off the line and into 2nd.

it will never be as quick as deans, honestly only will get 12s out of it... not going for times like dean in it anyways, little sequence from April 1st

the badge on my car is an 8... not a 6 :( its either axle tramp or bogging down... ill sort it out soon enough

yeh agree. my 12.7L/100km is after 20,000km. 6spd manual. and its not like it gets the occasional squirt... it gets the occasional nanna

yeh the car is mostly fibreglass. haha running powerglide due to the fact it already has a Final Drive made tailshaft to suit. and ive found for the money it costs for a 1150hp rated Powerglide, that money can only buy a C4 with half that and a T400 with about 800hp so powerglide is best bang for my bucks. no I havent talked to him about it, my current tuner for my XR6T loves motecs and cant wait to do it. so im quite happy about that

definately something wrong. my FG gets a very hard life and averages 12.7L per 100km. could even be a stuffed O2 sensor

still getting a price from Ovaboost for a full loom for the Motec to SDL/SLM & engine... otherwise ive got the opportunity to purchase a loom suited to Motec M800 to SDL/SLM to Barra i6. plug n play FTW!!! btw, I found out that the car ran 8s with 650hp at the FLYWHEEL

funny you say that... the car has been drifted before (at barbagallo raceway) ended up killing the stock clutch

yep. slow braking = badddddd !!! I have to do hard braking now at lights so it doesnt sound and look like my car is falling apart

they do not make FR20s... trust me, they dont make them.. ive offered dubious amounts of cash for them. and they dont make them hahaha if you have brembos you cant have dish. unless its 4-1 combo (single pot PBR caliper out back painted red). 19x8.5 front with 225 tyre 19x9.5 rear with 245 tyre (soon to be 235 )

id go with BPT... they do a fine job with a good turnaround time

im running 8.5", 9.5" rear on my FR19s. offset of +36 front - like 1mm between brembo caliper and spokes rear - almost a centimetre between brembo caliper and spokes, so I could of gone for a +40 offset

put me down for a set of 80Lb injectors please :)

are the seals/o-rings in the 80Lb'ers suited to running methanol?

hmmm people USED to say titan... but they have had ford look upon them.. very strict now. wouldnt give me a new clutch :( but saying that, they were gonna fit the aftermarket one and say it was a ford one, for warranty macinenery ford is good. they look after me *edit* in saying that, its due to parents buying 2 cars from them and me buying the FG from there... so its cos we are regular customers.. .unsure how you would go with a car you havent bought from there
