  1. I could try removing the stock air filter, and run without one. with a better launch (yep still has more in it), I could get a little bit better. had a few receipts, cds and bits of paper in the centre console. lol basically, its got more in it, but to get another 0.2 off the time would take a lot in stock form !
  2. my Malwood Option 3 has been awesome stock clutch lasted 11,000km with my abuse and track work. the Option 3 has lasted 14,000km and is still going strong mine has 35% extra clamp too.. I think I had the first option 3 made for the FG, and its going sweet also have the Option 5 (twin plate) rated to 550rwkw that's brand new, for sale

  7. the clutches (factory) are prone to getting stuck to the floor. gotta be careful... they dont take too much abuse.
  8. check your power steering fluid. I checked mine yesterday.... really f*cking low :o
  9. OMFG.... why is it that Ford/Expensive Daewoo owners cant look past their backyards? there's a lot of sh*tter skylines, as there are stock XR6Ts. and average drivers as well. its a very bad generalisation to do. stock FG F6 ran a 12.59 in perth. stock R35 GTR ran a 11.79 (hit speed limiter 3/4 track) in perth. both manufacturers have pace with a good driver. seriously, for the one eyed supporters, hop onto a non ford only site. your eyes will open up... or if you retain your "imports suck" mentality, you would get some flame on the other sites, and probably have a grudge against imports from then thereon. 2000 R34 GTR - avg price $60k 2008 FG F6 - avg price $63k ? and yet the 34 has a lot more fancy in cabin controls relating to the car etc.
  10. you sure about that? the standard FG XR fronts are 323mm so I dont think the std XR rears would be only 5mm smaller? anyways 17" BA XR6T rims fit
  11. ive got the Opt3 in my FG... ive done numerous track days, drag nights, burnouts etc.... its going strong 12,000km and going strong ... (note: killed stock clutch in 11,000 km hahah)
  12. kept running 13.6s / 13.7s tonight.. with 40psi in the 19" 245s running 275/30/R17 M/T streets this wednesday or next week... hopefully get my 60ft down to 2.0

  14. haha im blind as !!! im purchasing Ross's (tinyplums) MT Streets on Saturday... 275/35 R17 fingers crossed I have an axle after the drags !
  15. cheers guys. Hiro, a stock FG F6 (ZF) sedan, ran a 12.59 on dunlops at Anzac Day drags (ford vs holden) they are fast !!!! ratter, nice !! very nice for a 260 !! im looking to get a 13.4 with MT streets this monday
  16. managed to get a: et: 13.659 @ 105.26 mph 60ft: 2.233 tyres: 245/35/R19 Dunlop SP3000s at 40psi stretched onto 9.5" wide rims
  17. ok since last update, ive managed to get a hold of the original engine plates (to suit chassis and the clevo). and ive also bought Siemens 80Lb injectors and sold my 60Lb'ers I decided to test fit the custom bellhousing today (made by Dellows)... luckily I had no bellhousing issues, which is nice, I was a bit concerned prior due to Jeff (XH50WA) have lots of issues with his for his TKO600 gearbox and Dellow bellhousing. here's the bellhousing versus engine plate (to suit clevo) ... the hardest part will be to make sure the 6T bellhousing is in the centre of the (new) engine plate, will work something out here's the cooling system, as per usual it runs around the rear to go to the heater box etc I will be removing all the pipes/piping (except for the turbo water feed and return lines)... but I will have to work that out in a bit more detail when I purchase an electric water pump
  18. replacing valve springs = opened. as somebody has said to me previously open a can of coke, take a sip, now put some pepsi in it. is that still unopened?
  19. FG XR8 June 08 build 21,000kms Brembo 6/4 Pots happens with only driver in car, and WORSE (occurs often) with a full car Aftermarket wheels coilovers - happened with superlows as well aftermarket clutch car is mechanically stock and not tuned
  20. ok I found with a full car it happens every f*cking stop!!!! (when I brake gently - as you do when you have others in the car) so weight plays a factor !!!
