  2. haha ross and adrian. ill probably take the runners down to Fast Friday at the plex 2moro night (as Josh from Metalcraft will be there). so he can get a start on them this weekend/next week. btw ross, did you run that stock 12 on street tyres or MT Streets? cos im racing the ute 2moro night and ive still got my set of 275/45/R17s I might use. looking at either an 80mm or 90mm (LS1 style) throttle body, should feed the air nicely into the plenum.   3. just test mounted the NITTO runners, for preperation for fabrication of the custom plenum shall look pretty porn ! the box and powersteering metal thing represent the plenum and TB position

I thought id share this (old) photo, always makes me giggle with excitement seeing it. its the T51R just dummied up on the old 6 Boost manifold (it wont fit, due to rocker cover clearance, and V-band flange VS T3 flange). but for the photo, I just had to do it. should be dropping off the manifolds in the next week for manufacturer :D
  5. im going to be ordering some more parts (another MP-4703 fuel pump, filters and fittings) to my fuel system now the aussie dollar is good against the USD. already have: Magnafuel ProStar EFI 750 Fuel Pump (665-MP-4703) - Magnafuel MP-4703 MagnaFuel ProStar EFI Fuel Pumps Magnafuel ProStar EFI 4-Port Regulator (665-MP-9940) - Magnafuel MP-9940 MagnaFuel EFI Regulators & Fittings Siemens Deka 2433cc injectors running methanol but this is where I need some help now... the MP-4703 fuel pumps have: inlet/outlets of Dash-10 fittings. the MP-9940 fuel reg has: inlet/outlets of Dash-8 fittings my Nitto fuel rail has: inlet/outlets of Dash-8 fittings should I run: 1) Dash-10 lines, with Dash-8 -> 10 adaptors onto fuel reg & fuel rail or 2) run Dash-8 fuel lines, with Dash-10 -> 8 reducers on the fuel pumps? and regarding fuel filters... -- fuel filter links -- what's the difference between PRE-filters and AFTER-filters (apart from the micron count?) because I can get a 74 micron PRE filter, but 25 micron after filter (as seen in the link) cheers matt

  10. lack of update due to personal reasons (most ppl know), this has been on the lowdown for the last few weeks/months. also waiting for parts didnt help.   11. you will have rattling when the car is on, in neutral great clutch though. (got mine with 35% extra clamp) ... car does track nights and drifting, never had an issue with the clutch
  12. lucky me, halfway through dropping the gearbox (replacing the HKS twin plate, with an OS Giken triple plate), I decide to get sick as a dog. headaches and vomitting. woooo ! found another sweet photo from the comp.

  14. ok wrap up from Round 1 the good: - was my first time out in the car (apart from a lap around my block, not hitting boost), and I had an absolute blast - car went better than I expected - got better as the day went on the bad: - my worst session of the day was the qualifying session :( - the HKS twin plate is slipping chronic... hell weird... bled it today (got heaps of air out), but it still slips (gentle acceleration slips at 1500rpm, hard acceleration it free revs) some pics

MORE INFO Place: City West Time: 7.30pm ... 8pm depart $5 donation. im posting this on behalf of my mate Phil (often seen on cruises in the silver XR6T sedan), who had his little sister killed Saturday night by a drunk driver. they were walking along a centre island when they were hit, and killed instantly. Phil's family is pretty much flat broke and paying for the funeral will prove very hard for them, so he's making a cruise in which people could donate $5 (we pay more for a meal at Maccas), to help the family pay for the funeral.

  21. ok, as per usual tocchi spec, I eat my words rather quickly due to boredom or just nothing better to during the day. so ive sourced parts already for it, but its keeping the stock turbo and manifold on for now I believe Nic is sending it off to hyperdrive for a quick tune (for the stock turbo, manifold) ill put the bigger turbo on in the November 'break' (2 comps in october, none in November) Garrett GT3082 (0.7 front, 0.82 rear) high mount steampipe manifold Turbonetics 38mm wastegate (18psi spring) screamer pipe 3.5" dump pipe went to change rims .... then noticed it had a type of wheel nuts that I didnt have a key for ... so I gotta go buy one but the (black) R34 GTR rims will now live on it. car as it is now engine bay (for now) "interior" haha
  22. this is the replacement for HMAS FG ... since retired from drift duties I got it with a stock 25 turbo manifold & turbo, instead of the previous setup which made 385rwhp on 1 bar ...
