  1. cheers for the tip aaron. the present in the photo is actually from a fluro light (as I took photo at night), but I have a window, so yeah, I might get a curtain for that
  2. Fair call psi40L .. guess that's why Atomic (seemingly according to their website photos) use a FG plenum (retaining castings of Ford logo in it) plus a fuel rail for $1400. *Beep*, had a Nitto plenum, sold it, and then bought more Nitto runners & fuel rail alone so I could get a custom plenum section manufactured. currently running a FG plenum (cost me $400 ish?) with the Process West fuel rail ... but once I get the W2A setup, ill be going the Nitto plenum (customised as above)
  3. I got bored. and carpet tiled by shed tonight & decided to put all my tyres in one spot, instead of scattered throughout the shed and garage lol
  4. the front R35 rims are sh*t, they have Toyota spec offset, quite disgusting lol. 4x Rear R35 rims on a falcon would fit. and look very sexy. just would have to get the centre bore machined out (just slightly) to suit the larger falcon hub size
  5. nah this was an older guy, and he didnt give me the finger. so definately not dean. lol
  6. spotted a silver BF Phoon today on Fwy South riding on FR19s .. plates [1 CDX ...] .. Very nice :D
  7. I had a set of BA/F seat rails about 6 months ago, in the aim to use them to mount my fixed back seats to, but their track wasnt wide enough to bolt into the FG floor pan
  8. haha funnily enough just about to get these organised for front and rear in mine. what prices did you guys get quoted/pay?
  9. spotted mr Grug on Reid Hwy today, near fwy lights. I was in the dark burgendy turbo [PSIMONT] going the otehr way
  10. ^ what Mal said. had my FG's Opt3+ fitted back in 08/09 by Tim Slako's workshop. 45,000km of hard driving & trackwork (grip, drift & drag) later and it's going strong! so definately give them a call
  11. supposedly E85 is sh*t on N/A cars... but awesome on turbo cars. maybe they should try it on a XR6T
  12. its hard to say, as differing widths and offsets play a big factor About | Stance:Nation - Form > Function the above link explains how offset works in 3 simple diagrams, its based on the wheel centre in relation to the hub face. ive found 18x9 +30 clears easily, as does 18x8.5 +25 & 18x9.5" +30 I could do a whole list of sizes that have worked for me, but yeah, all depends on the widths/offsets
  13. jap rims ftw !! much easier fitment than "aussie" rims yep, they cleared the 355mm rotors/6pot brembos
  14. ok here's what I mean... had to use the old BF's engine bay because the FG is at the paint shop so I cant get a new photo. haha solid red lines = airbox sides dashed red lines = open sides also the hatched red lines signify the lid, but of course, im wondering having no lid & open sides is beneficial
  15. just wondering if anybody has tested the affects of, a fully enclosed airbox, compared to open sides (top, passenger side/side panel, front) or if not tested, whats the best design for airflow / keeping out too much heatsoak.
  16. lol. I couldnt run a decent time ALL night, let alone find the correct gear... frustrating as f*ck. saying that, I had major flatspots in those 4wd spec 255/40/R19s of mine, they are round again now and needing replacement
  17. ben, should of seen everybody's reaction when I told them it was 540rwkw ... they didnt believe me at first. then they heard your idle, then heard the limiter on the burnout... few ppl changed their minds straight away get any footage from last night?
  18. didnt even see your car then man .. it was that fast paced lol
  19. plus it was stinking hot :(
