  1. ID1000s or 2000s ... made by Bosch. I have the Siemens 220Lb in my car ... on race fuel, so it idles nice, on pump fuel it would be a pig. ive seen a race evo with the 1000s in it, idles beautifully on 98
  2. hey guys, anybody a concreter on here? im chasing some prices for normal concrete, not polished etc, doesnt have to be sealed etc. it's a 1m x 12m section that's down the side of a shed that is rarely used - basically it's just slabs and sand at the moment ... yuk ! and a 3m x 3m section needed for under a pizza oven, that weighs a good 300kg.
  3. yeah, buy the whole setup from Atomic. way easier.
  4. what's the difference between the 998GTA (?) and the GTR? the GTR is 18k could somebody put up a side on photo of the FG sump?
  5. ^^ that !!! japanese rims don't weight a tonne, don't shatter when a curb gets hit (not that you want to), and they dont look like cheap chrome Bob Jane advanti rims that EVERY falcon and Late model camira rolls around on
  6. don't know, never attempted to see if it would fit.
  7. yep. it will bolt right on. contact Process West regarding a fuel rail adaptor to suit B series injectors in a FG rail
  8. ^ LOL steve. well I think people should buy these: 4x Michelin slicks (27-65 R18, equiv of 275/285 approx) Compound S7A $200 ONO a pair (so $100/tyre). used, probs about 50% "tread" left in them. about a year old. selling due to car's setup/power best suited to 245s :(
  9. steel belts showing on slicks... because race car. lol
  10. not me... I was gonna race the ute, but decided I better get my tyres fitted for tomorrow night, so that took priority lol
  11. oh my bad... seems I don't listen very well haha
  12. any chance you could call or sms Jai? ... he works at cometti tyres, so tyres arent an issue I think. they probably have a work ute that could pickup tyres so you dont need to drive.
  13. hey guys/girl, anybody NOR that can lend somebody 2x 19" rims that clear 6 pot brembos? if so, call Jai (from No Limits Events) on 0412 637 623 ... it's for one of his customers as the car is stuck at Seaview Ford without rims, and he just needs to get it home or something.
  14. TKO Tinting here in Perth has a 20x11 on the rear of their FG F6 ute if I remember correct.
  15. lol dean is that why you always walk with a limp and holding your ass?
  16. the 2nd link is great ! having the nose heavy xr8 the weight % is a tad different, so the swaybars will have a different effect, but it's a good base to work off still have to get the car on a hoist and see about if I can fit fibreglass/carbon fibre sheeting underneath the car (making a smooth floor/surface) without fouling on the exhaust and so forth
  17. ^^ interesting. im definitely going to have to look into getting the perfect height setup for my car... maybe some corner balancing, come time for the track events. warchild, I found a photo of mine from mid 08 - http://wasuspensions.com.au/gallery/ford/FG_XR8.JPG.php - it looked horrible :( haha current tein height -- https://fbcdn-sphotos-a.akamaihd.net/hphotos-ak-ash4/196217_10150113704113123_638188122_6766179_7967236_n.jpg
  18. what bad stuff have you heard about teins? I know they cant go as low as pedders, but with some base plate modifications ive got my Super Streets pretty low for daily driving. they've seen 50,000 of hard driving/track work with the car being low. no issues. love my teins, and teens. wait what ! haha
  19. 1st gear - need to be rolling to get it into gear at times. 2nd gear - no synchros (all destroyed) 4th gear - a synchro isnt too flash. the other gears are ok
  20. no probs, pending price, id be keen
  21. best to call both. if you choose to use WA Suspensions, talk to Pete, tell him Tocchi told you to go there good choice on the suspension yep, well.. ARP headstuds, Atomic Ovate Wire Valve Springs, Atomic oil pump gears... stock cams, stock valves, stock rods, stock pistons, stock crank, etc. on methanol, wouldnt want to do that on 98 as im not running a FMIC. september when the season re-opens
  22. I also recommend wa suspensions, they fiddled with my car yesterday/today for me. good prices too
  23. ive done it, big improvement over how it came. saves having to buy a better sub for now
