  1. For the record, they are 3 piece ***
  2. I have epic flutter all the time, I touch the accelerator and there's pigeons. Maybe due to my diff ratio loading the engine up ?
  3. Make sure you mark & this retain the cam caps in correct place/position. Otherwise line honing will need to be done, to avoid premature wear as well. Basically just a heads up for people removing them etc, I found out after mixing & matching, but before it was ever near starting
  4. Lol. All that prep Aidan.
  5. Would not use proflow fittings let alone their pump setup... I like things that don't leak
  6. I have a titanium flapper & retainer (unused) I bought off here, for $100, if you're looking for the parts alone
  7. Sorting paperwork & receipts... For the Capri. There's hundreds of receipts. I wish I wasn't into cars haha
  8. Referring to pedders and the other cheaper brands. Haven't had experience with SW
  9. Nelsonian has the best longtime track time on a falcon. Check his topics. I've had extensive track time with my old FG, probably 5,000km ish over the years I had it... BRAKE FLUID is key. I used PMU GFour fluid and it was amazing. Suspension is next up. A good set of springs and shocks will out perform cheap coilovers etc.
  10. The nizpro cobra kit was a c*nt to fit with the limited instructions available online. In saying that, top notch quality.
  11. I remember when a wide set of Simmons without Tyres was near upon 5k ... How times change. #oldmanhere
  12. Up the boost. Big turbo & Small gate - high boost is one way to bandaid the issue. Big turbo & big gate - low boost / high boost will have no dramas for boost control
  13. I run a 245/45/17 on the BF's front - no rubbing or anything.
  14. Work got an uber account for the employees - no more crap taxis woohoo
  15. Currently working at a BHP power station, everybody looked so happy, so I asked them how they find the job ... They said "it was a gas"
  16. What a lot of us (racers) do with gauges is mount them so operating temperature/pressure is upright so at quick glance we know exactly if it's good/bad. As Arron said, unless you're looking at them when sh*t goes bang, there's not much point ... So a gauge with a peak hold setting etc - a form of (soft) datalogging (where the data is reset every time the cars power is turned off)
  17. It will be interesting to see if the track of them is different to brembos. And if there is, that difference is obviously the track pedigree.
  18. Beget, is that a French dish like the carburetor ?
  19. Picasso ! Only one flaw, the wagon only leaves one. Haha
